I see people getting angry that they are changing to be more 'vanilla' or 'more like popular pop', but honestly Mother Mother still has a unique music! The most notable change is most of the songs in this album have more vocals unlike most of their music that depends on the instruments mostly. But I honestly think Mother Mother have found a sweet spot in both vocals and instrumentals with this new album and still have that unique sound and taste to them!! BUT that's just meeeee

It means a lot to me because I've been bullied my whole life for being autistic... People laught always the way I act or speak and I never understood why. I've never actually had real friends, nor have I had a boyfriend or girlfriend. I was always the nice girl who say yes to everyone no matter what, who always sits alone but in the end always listened to everyone's problems, but I no one listened to me... The only one friends I had have abandoned me in some way, because I thought they are real friends, but at the end they were only using me for my grades in group projects, discarding me when they no longer needed me... But my trans brother always stands by my side, so what really matters is that, even though I may not have friends and always be alone in my life, but at least I have my brother. this song reminds me more of a found family. As someone that was rejected by my biological family for being different, this song comforts me, by reminding me of the friends that cared for me and wanted to fight

So I first started watching this with my gf and when we were watching it we were cuddled up on the couch and she got her phone taken for awhile and this song reminds me of her so everytime I miss her ima just listen to this and it just puts me back there

I saw them open for awol nation, they were absolutely amazing, and I saw their dance and cry show over the weekend and they are still fucking amazing! They are my sobriety band for sure! their music got me thru so many damn emotions!
I totally get this. I've been into them for over a decade now which is wild to think about. Totally helped me work through my depression, get help for it, and learn to live with myself. I feel like they speak an important message that anyone who needs it will hear
