4. stay well hydrated, drinking a lot of water helps not feel too much pain during fasting
during ramadaan we keep fast of 14-15 hrs of no eating and no drinking(even water) and during that period i workout for a week and in 5 days i lost 4 kgs of fat
No water is dangerous dude. One has to stay hydrated during the workout even with the fasting. Lay off food but stay hydrated.

@@mdshadab6405 except for drinking water, the routine is similar to intermittent fasting. Maybe try a routine which you can keep up, life long, every year without damaging the kidneys. Once they are damaged, you won't anyway be able to even keep the fast

I love watching your video. Please keep up the good work. I had some doubts though regarding Intermittent fasting. Would be great if you could answer those:
1) I generally workout in the morning. So would you recommend IF or not?. Because if I don't take pre workout meal, it gets tough in the gym to life weights.
2) Can I change my IF timings. For eg: I fast between 5PM to 9AM and open my fast with protein shake and go to gym. Now on weekends if I change my fasting to let's say 10PM to 2PM. Would you recommend these types of timing changes?
3) Lets say I reach my goal, should I continue with IF or I can change it other diet strategies also. Will it affect my body in any way. ?

A. Is it important to IF during the morning? Actually i am physical education student which demands alot of physical activity during the course of the day. Like in the morning we have a little workout and in the evening too and i hit the gym after 6pm. So i just wanted to ask you that, if i IF but i dont provide my body the post workout meal while on IF isnt it just stupidity? Cause greater muscle loss.
B) is it necessary to IF since morning?
C) Can i make it 12pm to 7pm window?

It's not necessary. Main point of IF is giving your digestive system a break. So you can do it anytime. But 16hrs should be your fasting time if you want weight loss or any such major changes in life.

I'm on intermittent fasting .. n had - one watermelon(700gm) ,one banana, 5 soaked almonds, one mask melon(half kg ), 3 brown bread, 4 eggs wid yolk part,2 chapati, and boiled palak saag, in my eating 8 hours time span .. is it over eating .. ???

One more mistake to add up, to break the fast ..some people may consume foods that contain sugar/soda/fruits/..junk. In this scenario, they will gain weight -- instead have coffee without sugar/green tea/etc.

I did IF for 5 months. It does work. I did it with the Keto diet and the effects of IF were amazing. I lost 30 pounds. The idea is to eat more fats, proteins and greens and less carbs in your feasting window so that your insulin does not spike. Your body will just use its own fat and you'll get leaner.

Hi Abhinav, I have recently started watching your videos and they are eye openers. I watched your video series regarding damaged metabolism. In that video, you told that in order to improve the metabolism, we slowly need to intake calories upto our daily maintenance calories. Now i was watching this video and i have a question. As you said, we have to be calorie deficit and not overtaking the calories (that’s one of the purposes of intermittent fasting). Now my question is, if we go below our maintenance calories (as this is one of my reasons for damaged metabolism), won’t we again be damaging our metabolism?
