Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley is a story-rich musical adventure game about Snufkin restoring the valley and helping the quirky characters and critters who call it home. A series of hideous parks have cropped up in Moominvalley, disrupting the landscape and its harmonious nature. As Snufkin, you will distract police officers, pull out signs, and knock over misplaced statues as you vigorously try to restore nature and the inhabitants’ home while putting an end to the industrious Park Keeper’s plans!

Finnish franchise originally in Swedish language, Norwegian game developer, sponsors + one of the composers, Swedish publisher and last but not least Icelandic Sigur Rós as composer. Pure Nordic vibes. I’m feeling proud of being from the Nordics today. The game is so gorgeous and brings back memories of reading moomin books, watching the tv show and playing moomin PC games back in the early 2000s. First thing I did was change the in-game language from English to Norwegian. It just felt so right and so at home considering my upbringing❤️
Nothing brings the Nordics together more than Moomin.(=
Being proud on something like this shows your true character :)
Ooohhh Sigur Rós on the soundtrack may have just convinced me to get this game...
Not my type of game, but I *grew-up with the Moomins TV Show* when I was a child and I really LOVED that show back then! 🥲
Snufkin has always been my favorite character from the Moomin series (but then again, I think it's true for everyone else). Makes a lot of sense for him to have his own game and I'm glad it does!
I am more fond of Little My.

Angry Birds was on 3ds over 10 years ago, Baba is You on Switch 5 years ago, Cities Skylines 6 years ago, Legend of Grimrock made it early this year, Max Payne was on GBA over 20 years ago and then there's less recognizable indies such as Please the Gods which has been on Switch for 4 years as well.
i've had this wishlisted for years! so glad it's finally out.

Ah! I really loved Momintrollen as a kid and these graphics seems to take me back to that! So very gorgeous!

I use to love this art style, but now every.. single.. game.. ever.. uses it. It’s like eating your favorite meal at breakfast, later for a snack, lunch, dinner, then right before you go to sleep everyday for 4 years… STOP

Very short but very sweet and charming game. A must buy for any Moomin fan such as myself. My personal favourite indie game this year so far.

I love the music!
Fun game, but very short. Completed on day of purchase. To be honest, I wouldn’t have bought it had it not been for my 5yr old daughter. She loves the look and music and it’s a simple game for her to play. She didn’t have any problem with the puzzles only the stealth sections.

If there's also japanese dub, he should be voiced by one who voices Kisuke Urahara in Bleach, since his design is based from Snuffkin.

@@Caporai If you've ever seen any tv-series or animation from Mumintrollen, there's a high chance that it's the anime from 1990 by studio Telescreen. It's basically the original tv-animation.

@@AmazedBunion How is Nintendo cringe in this case? It's a third party game. Nothing to do with Nintendo, except it's on its system. It's also on PC, so I guess PC is also cringe. Although, there's really nothing cringe about the game. Looks colourful and fun with nice art style, targeted towards younger audience. Grow up.
