I LOVED this season finale! So much action, so many OMG moments! Moff Gideon putting together an army of clones with the force ability!? WHAT!? lol that whole idea had me shook so I was glad to see Mando sabotage that plan. The dark saber destroyed!? Moff Gideon crushed that thing like it was a plastic toy lmao, was no expecting that. Din Djarin adopting Grogu!? GAWDDD I loved to see it. Can't wait to see the adventures that Mando and Grogu will go on in season 4. I hope you enjoy my reaction!

Creating army of clones of himself with jedi powers seemed like something straight out of superhero movie and did not really approve of it. That plan seemed "forced". Darksaber being destroyed may be for the best since that weapon always determined who was the leader that there would always be competition and even unworthy ones can lead Mandalore. I am also glad that Din officially adopted Grogu and Season 4 will be reset with the story focusing on clan of two. But I hope to see them in Ahsoka and Skeleton Crew series even as guest stars as season 4 will still be some years away.

I hope the Dark Saber stays broken because there's a lot of symbolism tied up into this, the dark saber has you know was created by a Mandalorian Jedi named tar vizla who conquered Mandalore it's been the focal point of Mandalorian infighting for centuries the blade is cursed because it brings with it an endless pursuit of power that has destroyed this world (Mandalore) the saber being useless is a side that Mandalore is ready to stop infighting and they can move forward into greatness. Btw awsome reaction once again :)

The worry for Grogu was real when he was being surrounded by those Praetorian Guards lol I think Grogu is going to take the crystal from the broken Darksaber, and make a saber of his own. Great reaction, Laurenn
Hmm!! Had not thought about Grogu taking the crystal from the Darksabre: I like it a lot!!! (I would hope his Sabre would be of a regular, tubular black blade rather than the slim blade of the Darksabre, just to differentiate the two.)
My personal hope is that, once all the seasons of the Mandalorian are done with, no matter how many more there will be, Star Wars might make a time jump of say maybe 200 to 300 years in the future and start a new Trilogy of movies in which we would discover that an adult Din Grogu had created a sect of Mandalorian-Jedi warriors, which I refer to as “the Mandi”: Jedi-like Warriors in Mandalorian Beskar armor who, unlike the Jedi who would shut out emotional attachment from fear of turning to the dark side, would have learned to use their attachment, their love, their empathy for life forms of all kind to grow more powerful against the dark side (While some other dark force using cult might rise in opposition to them). Then, not only could we have brand new Star Wars adventures without being bogged down by the continuity issues of everything in the contemporary universe, but we could have lightsaber battles between Beskar armored, force-wielders!!
I knew Grogu would not die. He is most popular character in the show and getting rid of him permanently would create such huge controversies. Plus this is disney so they cannot get away with certain things, unlike GOT.
Fun fact: R5's beeping translates to "I'm too old for this shit." as he's heading down to help Din Djarin out with the map.

It was so stirring to see Bo-Katan hold the Dark Saber on high, leading the charge.
I wasn't too worried about Grogu; I remembered the scene in Serenity when River went up against a room full of Reavers.
Seeing Grogu adopted, and christened a Mandalorian Apprentice was special. I'm surprised you didn't include his little moment with the mythosaur.
Yes, looking forward to season four. I'm wondering if he'll drop in to help Ahsoka out in her series. I honestly expected her to make a cameo, or at least a post credits scene appearance.

You are 100% correct... The Darksaber is supposed to be made of beskar, and Moff Gideon should not have been able to just crush it like that, even with a mechanized suit.
And I quote:
"The Darksaber was an ancient black-bladed lightsaber. It had a unique blade that was shorter than that of most lightsabers, and shaped like a traditional sword. Its overall profile was distinctly Mandalorian with an angular pommel, hand guard, and slit-shaped blade emitter, all of which was made out of beskar."
I mean, it's a minor thing for me, because I believe they can just rebuild it (with the necessary materials and skills), but, still...

The moment I saw the praetorian guards attack grogu I nearly lost it.
Regarding the destruction of the Darksaber: Gideon didn't crush it with his bare hands. His suit was a wearable version of his Dark Trooper soldiers; it was a droid and a suit in one. You could see it in the way he tossed Din and Bo whenever he landed a solid hit and hear it when he moved. We never really saw the hilt get hit, either by blaster or lightsaber, and it was never explicitly stated that the hilt was made of Beskar. That being said, if they reforge it, it better be made of Beskar next time.
And yeah, while his suit might have been "fire-proof", remember there's no such thing as truly fireproof. The heat of the plasma from the ship's reactor exploding would have been hot enough to overwhelm any insulation and cook him from inside the suit, if it didn't just burn off the fabric between the plates.
Yeah, it was evidently a power assisted suit, which made his crack about trinkets pretty hypocritical. The only reason he didn't die, quickly, fighting either one of the two was his suit.
Love that finale. GO! Din Grogu 👍Moth Gideon's mandalorian inspired armor clearly wasn't just armor but a life support system that gives him more strength. Otherwise how was he able to crush the Darksaber with one hand? Was that the real Darksaber? Is Moth Gideon actually dead?

I completely understand the reaction to the guards going after Grogu in that room. Though to be honest, I had a different reaction when I first watched. In part, he is too important to the show. The other is that while Grogu is still young and vulnerable, he has shown that he is strong in the force, especially for his species. I was like, "Their now stuck in that room with Grogu. Good luck." As we saw, Grogu did use the force and leaped around to avoid getting hit. He is proving more and more resilient. Mando came to help out, which all worked out in the end. On another note, I'm pretty sure I saw Dave Faloni as a cameo in the bar scene near the end.

Hi Lauren!🙂I see you are at 33.3 K subscribers! Nice number, 1/3 the way to 100K. The closing scene is very reminicent of when Din Grogu was training with Luke, and the frogs. Don't worry, there is plenty Mandalorian to come. You never know if Moff Gideon will appear, or if he has a spare clone stashed away.😉

There's a popular theory that a clone was ready and that's who died not the real Gideon. I kind of can buy this and if you ask well why didn't he use the force then i'd say well he was just "born" and never had the chance to learn how to wield it.
This was my favorite season finale yet, but it ended so well I cant help but wonder what fuck shit they will start 4 with. Well Moff Gidean always wanted to be like Vader, I bet if he survived that you wont be able to tell them apart........except Gideon at least kept his limbs.....and as far as we know has only "tried" to kill a youngling.

I think the Dark Saber should stay dead unless the future Din Grogu reforges it since it was created by a Mandalorian Jedi. Gideon had hydrolics in his suit, so idk if Beskar can crush Beskar?

Beaker IS fire proof, but not all materials in between the plates. Proof: A couple of Beskar troopers WERE killed by Mandos with flame throwers (which made it weird when Din was unscathed... but I am sure the show runners would tell us that Madalorians have fire proof clothing to counter that; which makes it non-sensical that Mandos sometimes used their flame throwers in battles against other Mandos, but oh well!). So I don’t think that Gideon’s armour would have protected him from that very big and hot explosion...But!
Is Moff Gideon dead?... Was that even Moff Gideon?... Or was that *one of his clones!* 😱 (albeit, an earlier clone which he failed to imbue with the force). It’s just my own theory, but even if Filoni & Favreau intended for Gideon to die in this episode, it would be an easy retcon to bring back the real Gideon in Filoni’s upcoming movie & revealing that he wasn’t even on Mandalore when all this happened (especially since the Gideon that died did not have a moustache just like his clones in the tank didn’t have one either, which is an odd choice for his last appearance on the show; so unless Esposito HAD TO cut his moustache because of some other contract, that could have been a big clue that that wasn’t even the real him who died in that explosion!) So he MIGHT come back; we’ll have to see!
If Moff Gideon did somehow survive that, it wouldn't be realistic to me... Even with the suit, he still would've been cooked, because the armor itself would've heated up also. If there's still a "Gideon" after this, then I think it'll probably be a clone, possibly the one that opened his eyes...
Of course, that would mean having a Force-sensitive Moff Gideon. 🤷🏼♂️

This is a continuity realization but will sound like a racial one...
In the prequel movies they go out of their way to show you all stormtroopers are clones and all look Spanish.
Yet, ever since Disney took up Star Wars, every time you see a stormtrooper without their helmet, it's a black guy.
Phasma was higher up the chain of command and so doesn't fall into this narrative. We're talking about the grunts.
I absolutely understand them not using the clones anymore, the project was shut down after the genetic mind control was revealed during the Clone Wars.
-Some light research has lead me to the realization that the Stormtroopers of newer Disney movies were forcibly conscripted, so it's perfectly intentional that there is basically no racial diversity in stormtroopers...
