- A beautiful representation of a solid original car with all the correct upgrades. A built 355, tremec 5 speed and ford 9 inch. We replaced the headers with a set of Hooker super comps, and did a complete t304 stainless 3" exhaust, X-pipe with Borla ATAK mufflers. Ran under the axle due to the tightness of the brand new Ridetech suspension, 4 link rear. This is common place for us as we install these suspensions. These mufflers are loud when you want them, but pretty tame inside while cruising.

Aren't old cars exempt from mufflers

Hey, since you’ve driven it for a while now, how would you say the drone is at highway speeds and city speeds? I also have a 355 in my K5 blazer and I’m thinking about switching from the pro S to the Atak but I don’t want a ton of droning... Thanks for any info! Great score on buying that car
I don’t get any droning at all. Keep in mind it also has tuned headers and xpipe.

So what ever happened to your proto-type mufflers?
We were working with a manufacturer. Needless to say we are looking for another currently. We have a working oval muffler design, and round muffler. Thanks for asking!

I like the overall sound but would resonators make it deeper sounding looking at getting exhaust for a 427 bbc
