Did something for fun in Modern Warfare. Most of it is just me in Realism Mode with my pistol out, trying my best to frame the action. with no free-cam, it meant I had to crop hard and use only half the screen in the ultra-wide aspect ratio, in some ways it was a pain, but in others it was fresh and enjoyable. More to come w/ this game, hopefully.

To an extent, yes. My biggest problem is that suppressor shots are still incredibly loud. .300 BLK is a good round, but its still a little louder than what's heard, even suppressed.

There are a few tricks to simulate non-euclidian geometry in games. Here's a great demo and if done right could make an SCP-based game tactically difficult. especially if its procedurally generated.

I loved all the SAS missions, they were great and had a very "Zero Dark Thirty"feel to them. they were the best part of the campaign.
the one thing i hated in this entire campaign was the battle with the Juggernaut at the end. the entire camaign was made to feel realistic, and then this battle. i really hated that part.

Hear me out fellas: Spec Ops replayable missions that is a randomized floor plan of Clean House. Playable in solo or cooperative, the replayable variant has 4 building types, multiple floor plans for each building, multiple enemy spawn locations, variable weapons for enemies to hold and multiple entry points that may/may not be booby trapped.
Static maps that come with a 1 through 3 Star difficulty / challenge rating; enemies can hide under beds, shoot through doors upon hearing you move, wear suicide vests, have hostages; time limits, accuracy bonuses, hostages lost/rescued, enemies eliminated, lives lost/damage taken.
Static maps would give calling cards for completion of the hardest difficulties.

I’ve been through a lot a lot a lot of CQB and active shooter training and this was legit like any kill house I’ve done with hostages going for guns, hostages going for nothing, people flagging you down. Even down to someone going for a bomb.
This mission is 100% as real as it gets

When I played the mission I really loved the sound effects and the footsteps above me, it sounded like I was legitimately there.
This mission has surpassed All Ghillied Up as the best mission in Cod's history.
I disagree. Don't get me wrong, Clean House is a strong mission, but AGU had a lot more player choice and interesting ways to fail that don't result in an instant fail-state, and also evolved with varying set-pieces over the course of the level, while also setting up the mission following it as a natural pay-off.

I miss the days of real single player games. With stories that are deep and enveloping. These days games that used to have these aspects are money maker multiplayers with a campaign attached because they have to be. It’s just so disheartening man.

Jesus Christ man, with limitations aside this is genuinely amazing
Being infantry myself and practicing battle drills involving clearing rooms using night vision (NODS) and infrared lasers (PEQ15’s), I gotta say the attention to detail is outstanding. Just from the way they enter and clear a room alone, the technique is exactly how we train. This has to be one of the most realistic and faithful military games made yet.
IMO one of the Best missions in COD history.
