Something interesting...When you did the sum part. All of the tracks ran into the Elysia sort of gives a analog summing feel.. way better clarity and instrument placement. Can’t want until mine is delivered.
You have no idea how long I've been searching for the perfect EQ for my road sign. But I have to ask a more specific question: Does it work well with a speed limit sign, or only with do not enter signs?
I allready have a SPL Passeq, but I need a second EQ on my mixbus. I think I found it. Would be a great combination. With one of my compressors in between.
i am on the fence at the moment about buying a xfilter i have seen some reviews on the net where they say that the EQ gives no color and that there is some crackling and noise with it , the reviewer said that he had written to you about some bad components .. and at the same time i have seen some good reviews .. so i,m not sure what yo think
The xfilter is a very modern equalizer that can be used for all kinds of music. Even with more extreme settings the character of the signal remains the same, it improves what is in the signal. Due to the discrete class-A technology it sounds very high quality and noble.
Sounds great to me..He just cut the hammer noise out the rhode, I would of kept those frequencies personally. I understand he’s trying to clean up the muddy frequencies though.

The Rhodes and Vox sounds are awful with the eq! A road sign? ReallY!?
The road sign was awesome!
