Me and my buddy use to do set ups like this all the time, especially when we came across new goodies to try out. Never thought I would ever see a video one on yt, great video..
After I replaced my vehicles 150amp alt with a Singer 350, I took my old stock 150 amp alt and connected it to an AC motor that spins at 2k rpms (120 volts 7.5 amps from the wall) and use the alt to power amps in my house or garage it's portable, with 2 d3400s as a power bank I can power a Sundown SCV2000D. Instead of a home sub, try building a box type of enclosure for the subs to fire into. I remember when I was younger the one car stereo car i went to was setup like that. They had a jl 10w6 triple setup in a custom made bandpass box that felt like someone was punching you in the chest. That kind of setup worked very well.
