Lecce is 'Barocco' on Earth, Alberobello is the ideal fairy-tale village, Gallipoli is the Techno-House village, 'The Italian Ibiza' (go to August and you discover why). Those places are all amazing.
Puglia is a magical place that's for sure ⭐️ We hope to share the first video of Palermo in a month or so... we had a recent loss in the family, so we're going to travel to be with fam and take some time off. We hope to be back soon with more Italy videos ❤️
Is impossible to not fall in love for Puglia whether if you are Italian or not. Here the life runs in a different speed and mood. And the food is simply too good (forecast + some kilos weight staying here 😊)
hahaha we agree 😇 such a special place. We hope to be back many many times in the future 🩵 and PS: all the KGs we gained were 100% worth it!!! Food is too good!
Hello. I also went to Italy years ago. Everywhere is full of historical artifacts and buildings. A country I want to visit again. Thank you for this beautiful video. See you.
We enjoyed this episode a lot. The area is beautiful and the food looks great. I think you have come a long way in the quality of your videos in the past year. Good job! I have one question...about the sneakers you said were your favorite travel sneakers. What are they? I need a sneaker that is gentle on my arthritic knee. Thanks!
Hi! Thanks so much 💛 Happy to hear you think our videos have gotten better! The shoes are these ones: rstyle.me/+iQRSUVftx3gjnAjyOBHRNg they come in different colors, but honestly not sure if these have the support you're looking for. They are very flat, but we do love them and find them comfy ;)
That is amazing to hear! I think October might be the best month to visit if you don't enjoy crowds. We would love to be back! Happy travel planning and thanks so much for watching our videos 🩵
@waysoftheworld_ thank you, we're from Toronto and we moved to Nafplio Greece almost three years ago and it's quite cheap to fly too almost anywhere in Europe.

Ostuni-Gallipoli-Monopoli-Polignano a Mare-Fasano-Lecce-Brindisi is my favourite triangle in puglia. Beautiful beaches, great food and drinks all provided by people that know how to live very close to heaven, while firmly rooted to their home soil.
Those are some great spots you mention - also some place we still have to go back and explore! And yes, the people in Puglia are so warm and easy going. It's just a wonderful place 😎
Oh beatiful Puglia, I miss you so much 😁 . It's unbelivable how deserted is .. last summer in almoust all the places you showed , you could not walk 3 feet without stoping. Next time need to go in the fall.
hahaha really? 🙈 that's crazy! Yes, for sure visit in October maybe so the weather is nice and there's at least some people around. Although when we visited we thought it was so peaceful and romantic! :)
We're so speachless🤩 Thanks for this nice video with practical tips! We are going to Puglia next week and will definitely visit some of your recommended hotspots! 😊
You guys are so cute! Love your traveling style. Like what you point out that is special of the local places. Best part is that you are having fun! 🐚🌊🥰🙌🏻
Thank you!!! We we're lucky to see Puglia when it it was nice and relaxed, it made it easier to appreciate the details of each place. And we are definitely having fun 🤩🙌
You guys are absolutely adorable! Although we went to different places to visit and make our own UA-cam Videos, We very much enjoyed your videos as part of our research.
Loved your video guys! We were in Sicily ( NOV) at the same time following your videos. We are currently in Saranda Albainia nad considering scooping over that way next. Cheers Chris and Jim!
If you loved Sicily you will love Puglia! It's a little quieter, but it also has it's own special vibe. Hope you enjoyed Sarande! We love Albania, but honestly Sarande wasn't our absolute fave 😂
Great video! We'll be in Puglia in June - it looks so nice. Do you think it would be doable to visit both Polignano a Mare and Monopoli in the same day? They look quite small and close to each other on the map. Thanks!
Thank you! It is doable to see both in the same day, but both towns are places to experiences, not to 'do.' Does that make any sense 😂 The charm is enjoying the vibe, going for a swim, having a 2 hour lunch with wine, walking along the cliffs, etc. So you can see both towns in a day if all you want to do is take a look, but it wouldn't be our recommendation.
If you ever will have a walk in the old part of Monopoli DO NOT go at midday or you will go nuts: there's smell of good food coming from every house like fresh made tomato sauce, fried meat balls, fried vegetables and other gorgeus food. Having spent my summers there as a child (my grandparents had a house just at the start of the port) I know what I am talking about lol!
hi there, found you on youtube and saw all your videos in 2 weeks I think :) love your way and it almost feels like I know you guys. 😃 but can't find the BiH videos. still in the making? enjoy your travels!
Hi Angeline! Wow thanks so much for watching our videos 🩵 I bet you do know us pretty well by now 😅 The BiH have not been published yet... even a year later after the trip. We're so crazy behind 🙈 We're hoping to share those after we're done with Italy. Maybe for the summer! 🤞🏼 Big hugs from the both of us and thanks again for being here ❤️
@@waysoftheworld_ hi! it really feels special to get an answer from you haha. you two are a cool couple and really saw your video skills growing. hoping everything works out fine for you two and you can keep on travelling like this. hope to see more videos soon, curious on your adventures! big hugs back from the Netherlands!
Hi - thanks for reaching out. There have been some recent updates from a lot of the email hosting services, and as a result we're having deliverability issues. Please check your spam folder. If there's nothing there please reach out to aimara@waysoftheworldblog.com. Sorry for the inconvenience!
Italians also love visiting Puglia - I think their summer vacay is over end of August. But early October is probably when it really starts to chill out in Puglia.
that's so difficult! Turkey has both of our hearts, but we don't know if we could ever live there. And Mexico & Italy are countries where you can keep going back because they are so diverse. Sicily is the only place where we had serious talks about being able to live... but it is probably unrealistic 😉

In Italy, each region has its own charm, history, flavors, smells and its authentic people that make Italy unique in the world. I love Italy

@@waysoftheworld_ I agree, you're lucky to afford these travels. I'm lucky too, I'm Italian😆😆😆.
Can't wait to be back to this special region. Puglia we love so freaking much! ❤🇮🇹

I get it Gordon. We were kissing the schiacciata in Firenze because it was soooo good! Great video! ❤️
hahaha that's just the Italian way to go. Food is too good! Deserves all the kisses 😆
We were in that area the same time as you guys! Loved it!
Oh that's awesome 🤩 It would have been so cool to see you guys, what are the chances!? Maybe one day :)
Ahh so beautiful!! We have definitely added this to our list! Thanks so much for sharing, you guys are great!!

Is this episode recent? Planning on being there next week and wondering what the weather is like.
It was from November 👍
We must visit southern Italy 🇮🇹 next time. Looks so beautiful there 👍
Beautiful video thank you. What time of year were you there? What’s it like to drive in the area?

That was great, and useful! I'm in Bari now and loving it, heading down to Monopoli /Lecce/Galipoli soon :)
Have a great time! We loved Bari and all the rest of Puglia 😎
@@waysoftheworld_ Gallipoli (midweek not high season!) is my favourite so far.. though Lecce is just lovely (especially at night!)
Great video. Can you please tell me if those sneakers are canvas or leather? Thanks
Mine (Gordon) are canvas. Aimara prefers the leather...

Aww thanks so much 🤭 appreciate the lovely comment!
When in November was your visit? Looks like moderate/warm weather.Thinking about trip in early October and wondering how warm/rainy it would be.
First half of November. Weather was nice, but a lot of places were closed and sometimes it was rainy. I think October would be a great month to visit!
@@waysoftheworld_ thank-you!

Puglia is a dream! Thanks for watching :)
Really liked the song at the end of this video. Can you share? ❤
Hi! The song is called 'Time is moving' we got it on Epidemic Sound :)
I tried to get the free travel guide, but all I got was a page saying I had subscribed. How do I get to the guide?

Wonder if prices rise in the summer
I would definitely think so, especially for accommodations.
So beautiful ❤
what's with the backward baseball cap?
🥱
Italy is basically the best country in the world to be a TOURIST 🙂Living there...hmmm...different story
yea makes sense - many of our favorite countries to visit would give us an entirely different experience if we actually lived there.
What's it like living there
Very nice ❤
What month is?
we were there in early November 😎
LOVE❤❤❤🎉
grazie mille!!
It looks quiet there so not so much tourists or just the camera timing?
Just the timing of our filming. We were there in November... In summer time it will be packed with people.
When does high season end?
Italians also love visiting Puglia - I think their summer vacay is over end of August. But early October is probably when it really starts to chill out in Puglia.
I need your metabolism guys!!!
hahahaha 😂 we all need Gordon's metabolism!
🇮🇹 where is your most favorite place in the whole world one place that you can go back to over and over again or possibly even live????🤔
that's so difficult! Turkey has both of our hearts, but we don't know if we could ever live there. And Mexico & Italy are countries where you can keep going back because they are so diverse. Sicily is the only place where we had serious talks about being able to live... but it is probably unrealistic 😉
Not sure how one can give lecce 4 stars and Gallipoli 5 ?? Gallipoli is tacky
ratings are pretty subjective ;) ✌🏼
Savelletri di fadano the best village in puglia and the world
