Sam Lloyd.😔) accurately air played the More Than A Feeling solo.
I think that was the first metal solo I learned. Definitely one of my first anyway. I remember being able to play almost all of it but then i kept messing up after the trill lick
I used to think he was annoying with all the crazy faces until I watched his video on Richard Benson, the worlds worst shredder. My brother and I laughed so hard at it, we were both crying. After that I started watching more of his videos, and not only is he a great guitar player, I find his sense of humor absolutely hilarious. He’s such a sarcastic bastard and he’s great with the satire. Because everything revolves around music makes his humor all that more appealing to me.
One of the easiest solos (and first one I ever learned on guitar) is Still Loving You by Scorpions. It’s fun to play and after a few hours you’ll probably get it

All the dislikes show just how touchy musicians are, myself included. But I think it's crazy that people get so pissed off by this video . Most of these solos are plain and simple beginner-level guitar solos. It doesn't mean anything bad to the musicians who wrote them, and the parts being simple don't make them any less just because a beginner can play them. But there you go, over 30,000 dislikes on a funny and well-edited video from a guy who obviously has the musical chops to dissect and critique music.
I personally disliked the video because of how cringey he is. He made so many stupid faces and stupid dances that it was hard to watch it all the way through.
I'm in my fifties, so probably not in his target demographic. I spent a lot of time today pissing myself watching his videos! ( Not actually wetting myself you understand, it's a British phrase) This kid is insanely talented, both as a guitarist and comedian.
i'm late fifties. Had never heard of that young musician with a fantastic sense of humor. Here in Montreal, Canada we have a tv music channel where 2 guys try to be funny. Master of puppets is quite easy solo I've only been playing a couple of weeks but I've successfully learned the entire of master of puppets, the entire of crazy train, the entire of mr crowley and the eruption solo / you really got me I learnt some of my favourite songs after I got a guitar for my 14th birthday a couple of weeks ago

sweep picking is bullshit, as is most shred playing. it just turns into a mushy texture not a melody. soulful playing with feeling is what makes a good player. this guy is a horrible player, do not try to emulate this stereotypical approach to guitar playing. flashy gimmicks are no substitute for talent.

While its a virtuoso piece, and the solo is insane, "top gun anthem" by Steve Stevens was the first song i ever picked out by ear on guitar.

Hey buddy, this vid is crap...the guy is an ass..he's making guys like you feel their not that good...he is using his talent and skills on a very wrong way...Keep on the good works and don't give up playing guitar..If you put your energy in practising, you can adchieve what ever you want!!
sweep picking is bullshit, as is most shred playing. it just turns into a mushy texture not a melody. soulful playing with feeling is what makes a good player. this guy is a horrible player, do not try to emulate this stereotypical approach to guitar playing. flashy gimmicks are no substitute for talent.

Try the first Comfortably Numb solo. Not fast. But you'll never sound as good as David Gilmour, I guarantee it!
