My only comment on this. .is what you said about leaving frozen kool wipe on counter to defrost...no no no ..it plainly tells you on every kool wipe containers I have bought .to not set out to unthaw..put it in the bottom of your fridge to thaw ONLY

My neighbor taught me how to make this recipe years ago and we used it for ice cream cake. Perfect for that. It freezes well and everything.
Do you use instant pudding or the regular kind?
I had the family size pudding and used 3 cups of milk LOL … it was way too runny, good thing I had another pudding box

Excellent! It's 9am (ooo spooky lol) and I'm making my daughters birthday cake for tomorrow. I usually use wiltons whipped topping mix but they were out! I guess too many birthdays in January. I knew there had to be a easy way! Thank you! I just subbed, gonna see what else you've done.

Always allow you cool whip to thaw in the refrigerator. Do not leave it to thaw on the counter! Just a FYI!

It isn't quite as heavy, you can pipe some designs but I wouldn't try to draw or anything with it

and no this will not hold well for more than 30 minute room temperature. it will melt and become mess. I suggest keeping in the fridge until ready to serv
@@beautifulwoman6376 The instant pudding has gelatin in it. So, you still might want to refridge it if it's hot out or sets out for a long time. :)

can you pipe with this frosting? how does it hold up?
You can, but it's not going to hold like buttercream, it's better as more of a spreadable frosting.
Does the Jello stabilize the Cool Whip so that it doesn't melt at room temp?
It should be good, as long as it's not 90 degrees :)

never use a dry measuring cup to measure out liquid. like you did with the milk.
should you use a wet measuring cup?lol
