Canibus made a skit called "Stan Lives" where he imagined Stan did not die in the song and there was also a diss called “U Didn’t Care” which continues Stan’s story after the accident, from Canibus to Eminem... Em thought that it made Canibus seem like Stan himself ✌️

The song 8 Mile from the 8 Mile soundtrack hits hard. The whole thing has a flow that matches a train across the tracks. I listened to this on repeat for months when it came out. Also, Rabbit Run. Solid tracks, and IMO better then Lose Yourself.

Always laugh when he mentions in a song "if you have two Ice cube in a glass of water, the water level will rise" bar on his Can-I-Bus album. Also the song where he talks about how aliens are real and the government is hiding them. He's so serious and believes all these wacky conspiracies 😅
But he was still dope, and I loved him because of lines like that. The intellectual over the top metaphors were 🔥🔥

All that being said... Eminem killed him here. As soon as I heard this for the first time, i could never take Canibus seriously again. I still listen to his tracks occasionally because it's still 🔥 but i just laugh and find it funny now.
That is how Em killed him. People heard this and in an instant, Canibus was deemed cringe and corny. Destroyed his career as nobody took him seriously.
