Yeah I definitely caught most of that. So what I think what em was referencing most likely tho was steel as in a gun. In the hood we refer to a gun as steel. To hold steel is to carry armor. So aside from holding still literally also stressing in the fact that MGK is not a gunner at all and he’s never packing. But he might also mean what you said. Could be a triple

Rap Devil works because it's designed to be radio friendly (as in, a complete audio track with a catchy hook) and has a video to go along. Killshot decimates only based on the lyrics - wordplay, double, triple entendres 🔥 and it was in direct response to MGK's Rap Devil, bar for bar.

When this came out there were a significant amount of people that thought Killshot missed the mark, but I think subsequent listens to it show how lyrically complex this song was. He slaughtered MGK lyrically, technically, as well as with content. Em's disses had multi-level depth and really exposed the total lack of depth MGK had to his disses.
If you love lyricists, give Rakim some spins. He was one of the first for me that made me re-explore what he said.

Definitely do If I Get Locked Up and some other great song from time before he blow up. Songs like Infinity, Murder, murder, and When to stand up (feat on DJ Jazzy Jeff record). This is prime Slim Shady
Eminem never really talked about money for a long time, but he does more frequently nowadays. But it isn't just flexing for the sake of it. One thing I think people often forget with Em when being critical of his content and the like is.. he's done it all. He's been rapping for decades and at a high level for 25 years now.
He has rapped about his life. He has done characters. He has had feuds and discussed politics. He has done more wordplay and schemes than almost anyone. At a certain point, you start running out of things to say.
This is where critics would say if you don't have anything meaningful to do or say, stop. But Eminem loves rap and he sees it as a challenge. This leads to him finding unique schemes, flows, and using words nobody else uses. Is it always super relatable for the mainstream? No, but that's okay. He's been mainstream. He wants to just keep rapping and flexing his rap muscles.
All of that is to say, he never really touched on his wealth, so now he can do it in numerous fun ways that gives him something different to rap about. Music To Be Murdered By has a few great lines in regards to his wealth.

Real talk! When he started talking about that it made me like him even more. I’d happily show support to a person with strong character. I also had the potential to make too mistakes. Had the wrong people surrounding me but I fortunately had a few good ones that helped me see things clearly and turn my life around. Now I got my priorities straight and work to better myself and to provide for the ones I love. I’ve had instances where people have tried to convince me that I was victim and I take that as disrespectful as someone spitting in my face. I made my mistakes and suffered the consequences as I should.
There have truly been few diss tracks as brutal as this one. Em's regular stuff has always been brilliant, but his disses are just... they are literally music to be murdered by. The only thing MGK won was a Darwin Award.
