Excellent video thank you. I’m a 61 year old man who just purchased the Trotter. Keep these videos coming please! Are there any tips on how to mount and dismount and ride the Trotter? Please make another video that would be great.
Wow... Joe ... This is a killer video, a real full breakdown disassembly, I'm stunned! I am not the type of guy who likes to change a running system and I've hardly had to mess around with my Trotter 700 watts but my board actually had a bit of a 'slop'. I thought maybe the steel axle had worked its way into the aluminum frame, or something (well, I've been riding it offroad since summer of 2017) ... But I just tightened the bolts around the axle - carefully, by hand - done! If my board should ever get in real trouble I'd forward this video to the local guys who built my 7 Ah battery. Thanks a lot for all the information - WAY TO GO! Best wishes, Nordlicht.
Ha draws a wiring diagram despite working on these boards extremely often. Good stuff, enjoyed a look through it. Where worlds meet the one wheel is complete.
If I was working on that thing a lot I would add connectors into the frame where the wire exit for the wheel. Much better sounding overall for maintenance and water protection. Good job siliconing on the charge port btw, can't believe FM was messing that up on the pints.
huh seems like you could use a table with a hole/slot in it for the tire changes. Or just a little wood stand I guess. Hmm cold tire maintenance does seem like a pain.
Hey there I recently purchased a t1 trotter mag wheel. I got it brand new rode it 2 times nothing nuts or off road was just figuring it out the 3rd time I decided to go some distance from my house and it took a poop on me so now it's only beeping when I turn it on. It won't move $700 dollars and rode it almost 3 times I took it apart I noticed 2 wires not connected and they can't connect wrong connectors just wondering if you could help me out I have been emailing people in China and it's getting me no where hit me back if you can
Its a 5.5 rim 😬 so limited for tires. But Ive never worn through a stock one yet, over 2000 miles on one board and the tire looks almost new. Its a hard compound
Maybe, I mean, everyone have to starts from something and the suspension options with springs or bushings is definitely the improvement that Onewheel needs, also he needs to simplify the thing in the rails because the whole HD construction add more weight, same thing with the Hub (rim) the lack of the natural grove makes really difficult swap the tire.
Why exactly do you think they are better? These are actually built more solidly than the onewheels are (heavier too but win some lose some). These don't brick your board if you change the battery either. As he said you can change the foot sensors out with other styles too. Then if you look at the top end trotter (the t3 1500w version) it's motor has 2x the power of the onewheel xr motor, it is faster, has more torque, and it gets more range out of the box. So these are cheaper, faster, more durable, ride further, cheaper to repair (the manufacturer is dedicated to leaving the entire system including the software completely open to user modification). The onewheel might ride a bit smoother right now, but that can change with one software update. So how is the onewheel better in any logically based way?
“Trotter down.. Trotter up.. whatever haha!!” - Helping dude.

Interesting little suspension integration that I didn't know these had.
Me neither. Kinda cool

Really like the breakdown and mods. Very tempted to buy one. Looking forward to hearing about when the app comes out 🙂
Nice work.

Haha i definitely cut a hole in the top of that little table to accommodate the axle :)
Nice work. This will be super helpful. Great explanation of everything throughout.
Can't wait to get my board🤙🏽
How is it is it fun and work well
Tell me that you live in the San Francisco Bay area -I think I’d rather have you work on my board since you know what you’re doing!
Can I get some specs on those springs? Maybe a link to where I can purchase some?
If I send my magwheel to you are you able to replace the hub/wheel with an aftermarket one that I order?
Where I get electronic boards

Do you have or are you planning on having dealers in Europe?
Get in touch with m.ua-cam.com/channels/qPqPbrre4baKJNvoffO56g.html!
Will Hoosier tires fit the mag wheel? Or do you need the factory stock ones?

Optical sensors!?! 🧐💁🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
It's a gender neutral wheel I think.
Onewheels are better
