Now this Kalimba is NICE. I like the design of the lower and higher keys mixed in. I’ve seen this design in the Hugh Tracey brand with his Hokemas, Mbira’s and “Lotus style” Kalimbas. I’m sure it will be super fun to play!

hi maria! that's amazing to know! for me, i did not recieve a hammer. though perhaps you can raise this up to them when you are getting a kalimba from them.
for the musical background part, in their website you will see a category for starters. i suggest their Lara 17 key though. :)

Bolf kalimba has beautifull sustain, love it. The luthier not use wood bridge and change it with full roundbar. The roundbar results long resonance and long sustain, very smart!

Well, the nice thing about this kalimba line, Bolf Kalimbas, is that when you go to their website? Wow! They even have these set of categories for all sorts. Professionals, first kalimbas, and even kids! So they do have all sorts of designs.
For the tines, i am still able to swipe on the unelevated keys which really surprised me. ❤️
