I love the Foos, and RIP Taylor Hawkins! I believe this is Dave's drumming on this tune. Definitely not note for note, as I'm pretty much letting go of trying to do note for note on anything at this point, and just putting my spin on it.
Is it me, or does anyone else hear that odd beat in the verse of this song as a sped up version of 'Ticket To Ride' by the Beatles? I don't know if Dave planned it that way, but check it out and see what you think. Ringo uses flams in his beat and it's 125 bpm, but if you speed that up to this tempo at 136 bpm, it sounds very similar to this beat.
