When I was a little boy in the early '50s my daddy took me on a "tour" of a sawmill and one of the saws he called a "german" saw. This was in an old steam powered sawmill and the saw had several blades and articulated up and down just like this saw does. They would push in a tree trunk on one side and a stack of lumber would come out the other side. The saw made the whole building shake. Exciting stuff for a little boy holding on to his daddys hand for dear life!!

Nothing new about this technology. Sash saws were used in dutch windmills. Granted they were reciprocating in nature but resulting lumber was "plain" sawn and extremely efficient. I suppose 100 year old technology is still considered as new.
Guys this is not just one sawmill it is a couple of different sawmill machines. If you need anything you can message me. These are multirip saw, a couple are thin cutting saws and a couple are ripsaws.

I took various classes as well as finished a 1 year diploma in carpentry at a local tech college; this is better than any book I worked out of during those classes. It describes everything regarding wood working as well as complements it with helpful images. .
