Looks cool for an ice house. But outside in the elements there are way too many moving parts to freeze up not to mention extra weight. Simple stupid is the best bet when it gets cold and nasty.

Feel like the summit pole gets the job done, and I enjoy knowing where the sonar is looking based on turning my handle. Cool toy but seems unnecessary for the ice, would be nice on a kayak. Great video though, thanks for the content.
100-200 bucks i could see based on the pole market. But $600, ouch. Like the concept but not the price tag.
