Cracking rods I've caught everything on these from seatrout and patagonian mullet in the Falklands, to pike and perch in the UK along with carp. Just got my nephew one for Christmas.

Brilliant rod for getting started had mine for a good couple months as I snapped it being a doughnut caught in a tree (given my rod had a hairline crack from previous snags) but the reel in my opinion is brilliant as I still use it today on my feeder rod had many carp on it (I have changed the line on the reel to 15lb line) the reel works perfect had a it a good 2 years now brilliant little package for £14.99

nice little rod I've had one for a couple years I caught 2 mackerel same time on feathers while kayak fishing last summer - decent kit for the price.

I have this rod got it with the bag the line is good but reel broke but I kept the line lol and the rod it's self I've got caught mackerel with it dabs flat fish perch and in March I'm planning on putting it through its paces with trout fishing in all good rod

The reel seems a little fragile. Bought a Shimano Sienna to replace it. Just to be safe.

Rod is rubbish, 2 broke in the exact same spot. Wouldn’t recommend.

had it as my travel rod for 4 years and hasn’t broke, biggest fish caught on it was a 8pound pike so idk what your on abt
