My most loved band over the years. I had justin sign his photo in like 1989. when they probably first toured Germany in a small white van they called a tour bus. someone had written new model army on it with a permanent marker. He still always gets me with his music. Edit: Plus a totally authentic presentation of all the old good ones.
recording quality is great! lovely long show with lots of older and new tracks. Love NMA could not believe many years ago they came to my home town which was a location that no band would ever include in their tour, I think the gig labelled "Justin and friends" rather than New Model Army at the time rtaht. Great experience and a very small venue made it special.
A mate asked me to grand see NMA live with him. I didn't really know their music so came here to check it out. I can't wait for the show, this is great.
That was a fantastic evening. Great choice of songs, it was a powerful start with some of the their old but still up-to-date songs. Will be there in 2023, for sure!
I think NMA in Paris for their 25 years (I think? or 30 maybe?) is the only concert (well, two actually) where I shed a tear, or had to fight my tears away maybe... Two sold-out shows in succession, not one song in common in both setlists, Justin opening on guitar by himself and incorporating each band member seamlessly into the whole band. Brilliant.
Ahhh nothing like hearing NMA rocking those lads still have it glad to see them again. I last saw them in the States way back in 2010 their last concert in America and even thou they don’t come here anymore still a treasure to see them in concert
First saw them in 1983 and loved the energy (basically we were a bunch of 17 year olds bashing the shit out of each other to great music for fun!) Great lyrics as well...thoroughly enjoyed this, like the way Justin's (or 'Slade the Leveller' as he was known back in the day) voice got 'younger' as the gig went on...great stuff.
Because of f*cking corona I was too afraid to go to that concert, so I'm really happy I get a second chance to see the show. Thank u, WDR! (Edit: Typo)
I love NMA and I love their fans. You can't separate them. If you meet an NMA fan anywhere in the world, you automatically know that you share a very specific worldview. A lot of us are getting on a bit now, but still... family and tribe.
I wished id seen that one!!! I saw them on the 26th at the wulfrun in wolves which is a small venue, it was fantastic, old faces, nostalgia etc set list was a bit new for me still nothing to complain about but this would be perfect ! Those first 5 albums mean so much to me, not like a band, means a lot more. lol i remember skiving off school and catching the train to bradford to get my cloggs !! Cloggs !! I d rather be in a band that has what they have than all the money in the world!! I had a ticket to see them at the hummingbird in birmingham and i sold my ticket and cloggs when they released love of hopeless causes !! What an silly little shit lol
After nearly 40 years, Mr Justin Sullivan still says what I think. Thank you.
Oh God i Love this band. Thx Justin Sullivan! Gr8est Poet and musician of all time!
Amazing, audience full of people in their 50s like me, i saw them live 1990 in Hamburg, time has passed by and their music is to stay
Still playing with passion ❤
Love Justin and this band, been following them from Texas since day one, 1980. Amazing pure, true, talent. You just really feel it!
One of the few bands left I have yet to see. Their music fills me with nostalgia and makes me long for my hometown.
My most loved band over the years.

I saw them on the same tour in Newcastle...happy days
Being happy as I am, I've got a ticket for the 2023 Christmas Concert. - I hope to see you there...
They love their fans - you can see how the crowd inspires them . . . even after 40 years! NMA you ROCK!!

I have seen this man playing with his band 25 years ago, 20 years ago, 15, 10, 5 years ago. The look in their eyes is always the same
What a freaking awesome concert! - I hope to see you in 2023. - THNX 4 uploading this...

A banda da minha adolescência.
Sem dúvida, uma das melhores bandas de rock underground. Conheci essa banda quando adolescente. Acompanho até hoje. ❤️💯☠️⚡
Glorious! xxx
I love the world. I love the band.
One of the best concerts out there on UA-cam and one of the longest (I'm counting both evenings). I keep returning for this while working.
Snelsmore wood is Astonishing
26:56 Do yourself a favor and LISTEN!!!!! The most badass song of all time! Pure love from Texas. This music has been speaking to me since 1987
Now we are rockin' and rollin'
So Good!!
Ceri doing an amazing job of Stuart's bass lines.
They are amazing
28:55 to 29:06: Only true artists can trigger such a range of emotions in their audience. This is what music is for and what true art is.

Brilliant stuff
They´re getting old, the fans ... no more sitting and dancing on the shoulders of their friends ... Such a great band! Supporting them since ´88...
Great, I can get a proper view of the gig. The older you get, the better it gets.😆😆
Some of them still can mosh though
Ahhh nothing like hearing NMA rocking those lads still have it glad to see them again. I last saw them in the States way back in 2010 their last concert in America and even thou they don’t come here anymore still a treasure to see them in concert
His eyes still burn with passion!
Maybe they are not as healthy as they were ? 😉 but the Raw Melody Men are still here 🔥❤️

Devil's Bargain ❤❤👌👌 They had a great show in Waregem (Belgium) 2019!!

I lost count of how many times I missed them live. I guess it must be destiny at this point. Amazing songwriters anyway.

Fishbone, Red hot chili peppers, 2pac, Prince.... and New model army
One when not even the best british band for me .
Met them 1989 .
51th state .
What do you like most about NMA?
last time i talked to Simon Friend he was sleeping in Robert's barn.
66!
What, no 51st State? Damn, blasphemy!!! 😢
Parece pearl jam
What a sterile, lifeless reaction to the opener (CM)....FFS....
