And there it is! I’ve never tried Kevin Murphy’s volume cream so that looks like something I should pic up. I actually purposely had the formula for ascend feel like there’s something in your hair - like a little density which I quite liked and thought separated it from the vast amount of volumizing products that felt nearly like a “placebo” affect rather than actually doing much, (granted I haven’t tried your favorites you mentioned). Thanks for checking it out 🤙🏼
BluMaan didn’t you just make a video saying that volume is not a trend for 2020? You’re just here to profit, pal
Samuel Toron it doesn’t matter what’s in the trends. The product is there. If someone wants volume, they can use it.
Joe: I purposely had the formula for ascend feel like theres something in your hair.
Also Joe: Hello guys, this is Joe and today we will review original by blumaan. What makes it special from alot of other products? It feels like theres nothing in your hair at all!
Bro, could you please stop being you and just P*** off from youtube? You're getting really lame my guy.
It's almost as if he wants to have multiple products that do different things so that everyone can find just the thing he is looking for...
@@jovanbelegisanin289 no, he clearly mentioned: " I did it on purposely since" I" quite liked it. Not us or we, but I.
I absolutely love all the no nonsense no BS info in your videos, keeps me coming back for more every single time. Keep doing you and bringing us this amazing content!
The market needs people like you Robin! Who always gives an independent and honest reviews for those that enthusiast in mens grooming. Keep it up, love from Indonesia!
I can always rely on you to make a good and honest review. Happy new year Robin and everyone!!!
I was waiting for your opinion. Thanks for sharing and for always keeping it real! ❤️
You exposed me with "If you never have used a volumn cream before this will blow you mind." Great review keep it up
Another great review! Love how you can get an unbiased review from all the fans these UA-camrs have.
Thanks for always being honest and not biased, Robin. I've tried out a lot of stuff - always come back to Anti Gravity
I am definitely liking the new style of editing in this video.
I absolutely love your videos, been watching since the old G eazy style tutorial in your room with the bright flash camera haha, been helping me with my hair ever since!
You're so much more relaxed and funny in your videos now Robin, and i Iove it😂 As always, great work keep on doing what you do best mate.
Just me or is it kinda funny to choose a Bald Eagle, for a hair product packaging?
JustAdo 🤣👏🏼
Would be funny if the eagle was bald, which it isn't.
Where is the eagle bald ?
@@KAMPFOCHSE Idk what to call the both of you, but that type of bird is called a "Bald Eagle". Come on ain't that hard to figure it out.
@@MegaZack61 ok thanks
Congratulations on 300K Robin
Great review as always Robin.
Love how He is putting up his middle Finger at us on 2:13 😂
CNanD Woops 🤭🤣
I was searching the comments to see if someone would mentioned it😂😂😭😭
Thanks for helping me to get rid of my Confusions. Love u r work 👏❤
I think you’re right Robin, to where you mention that on the reviews most people say that this product is life changing, that it’s their first volume cream they’ve tried. This is the same experience that I’ve had. After trying many things for volume even down to sea salt sprays, Ascend was the first volume cream that I’ve tried and I think it’s a perfect balance of volume without the tackiness. And yes, I agree thee is a slight weight to it, but I like the fact that I can “feel” that it’s doing it’s thing. Anyways, great review Robin! I’ll see you in the next one
You should try Bed Head - 3 in 1 - Small Talk, we have the same hair type and it is the only volumizing/thickening cream that I’ve used for years.
Great work as usual, can you do a product review on Cremo products?
Thanks for flipping us all of during the video, Robin.
Perhaps u could do a brand battle...I
use Aveda Volumizing Tonic as a pre-styler
2:14 Robin flipped us off for a good ten seconds lmao
Hey Robin! Happy new year!
I have a question, have you tried Redken Brews's dishevel fiber cream??
Well... You have just saved my wallet... I was about to try it, I live in Colombia, so the shipping taxes are expensive, but I always search before buy something and just what you said, I'm looking for something to really boost volume. Thanks!
From all the prestyling products that you have tried or use. I remember in your old videos you used aveda thickening tonic. How does that compare to kevin murphy anti gravity? And would you reccommend using any voluminizing products with a sea salt spray as well?
Are you on the list? Sign up for my newsletter here: manforhimself.com/man-for-himself-newsletter/
Hey Robin! What about moroccanoil texture clay vs kevin murphy rough rider video?
Damn would love to try this, signed up! Thanks for the review I appreciate it - Nik
Robin in the quiff videos you recommended a lot of mousses, would they still give the same level of lift as creams? I'm looking for something with Max lift. I'm going to test out the American crew cream tomorrow
How’s robin under 300k subscribers with his honest and quality content
Nice and honest review BTW r u still using nioxin system.... Plz reply
Wanting to try the Kevin Murphy product but I can’t seem to find anyway to buy it online to the US
seen a couple comments saying they do not like the sound effects but I personally love it lol I feel that overhyped is a fun series for Robin (and his audience) so why not add fun effects throughout the videos? Makes things less dull! The "messiah" effects had me laughing both times and were definitely my fav! Keep doing you Robin!
Hey Robin ! So would you use a volume cream or sea salt spray for the most volume ?
Waiting for Joe's Reaction in the comment section here. 3 - 2 - 1... :)
It's here
I've been using some cheap sea salt spray that I have been buying at Kroger for like a year. I mean it seems to do a really good job with adding volume especially if I had a little bit of the heat and play with it while it's drying.
nice review robin! maybe tone down the sound effects, but as usual keep up the goodwork
It'd be interesting to see your take on the new slick gorilla products, they've got a couple of new products and you quite liked their powder
Yes, would love to try.
Just subbed dude, loved the vid.
Would love to here a review about hanz de fuko new line, two ton! Thanks :)!
Hey Robin i saw your video of your most used products of 2019 and i want to try Bumble and Bumble tonic Primer and Aveda thickening tonic since i hear so good thing for both. But right now i can only afford one..which would you suggest for now? I have very similar hair to yours and i am doing a slickback hairstyle
guy only talk about facts. love his honesty
Hi Robin could you do a review on Zentryo Root lift Spray it's a very good product which could be used for thickening or softening your hair by the amount you use.
What products do you use in this video for hair? I really like this style.
How long does the creams volume last? And would I be able to use this with fifth sample or would that weigh the volume down
Hi Robin, What about moroccanoil texture clay vs rough rider?
What do u think about cliniques products
Please suggest me a product for fine hair with great hold and matte finish or low shine. Please reply
i wanna get the cream because i dont own a cream before and u Robin James and u said there is little coating and im intrested
Have you reviewed Redken, kms or osis? I think those are salon quality but no one talks about them.
will you test out Victory Texture Spray?
Can you do something for people with curly hair ?
Can you review Morris Motley newest re branding, styling balm and clay shampoo.
Can you please do a vid on the Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Lemon Sage Thickening Spray?
I wanna see it up against the Nioxing Thickening Spray
**Tonic
Can you do Crowd control hair oil too.? Thanks in advance
I have thick hair that usually goes flat even after i put product in it is there a product you would suggest to keep it styled?
honestly, i have tried the kevin murphy volumiser and i felt it was too light and i didnt feel much that i actually prefer mousse.
I never have an issue with mousse since the day one
I’m confused if the label m thickening cream or volume foam is being suggested as an alternative, which is most similar to bluuman ascend ?
Try the tre semme volume cream. You can pick it up from boots or Super drug for 3-5 pound
And what about the thickening effect? It works? 🤔
which product is better meraki or asend ?
2:13 for haters
Nitish NK Ha ha!
Haha 😂
Can you mix this with Aveda thickening tonic for prestyling?
Will this work without a blow dryer
I’m a Bulemaan fan. I purchased this product on launch day. I really love it. I sometimes don’t even blow dry my hair and still get great results. Thanks for your review Robin.
😂 $ well played $
im not getting notifications with your videos anymore, and YES I have it made it so it gives me notifications and still nothing
Have been a silent viewer for long... But I had to request you that you review some of the Indian Brands that are available in India. I can only take your word for it.
Helium - Black Armour Collection
Tigi Bed Head matte separation
Menganic Clay
Thankyou!
And Namaste from India.
I am a 'sea salt spray' guy when it comes to pre-styling.
Never liked volume creams much.🤔
Mr. Slayer I’ve never had luck with sea salt sprays! I’ve just gotten into tonics.. like the aveda thickening tonic and it’s amazing! Gotta try that Kevin Murphy cream though
Sea salts have been good 👌 especially with 2-5cm hair
@@Nattymatty7 I am also thinking of trying the Kevin Murphy cream.
Everyone: love your videos very helpful!
Robin: adds random background noises
Me:
Robin: “Perhaps it says more about the content and what I’m dealing with...”
You: “Ah, I didn’t think of it that way!”
OR
“Still don’t care.”
What does that have go do with the helpfulness of his videos?

Hahah best video yet! And that big fat middle finger
I love your videos and I’m a big fan of your channel, so this is not a knock at your content at all. But there was wayyy too many sound effects in this one lol, to the point where it was comical and kinda not in a good way. Personally I’d want to see them used sparingly in the future! One here and there, not so many!
Kevin Dudginski Good feedback. Thanks.
Found him somewhat mocking Joe. :/
😂😂😂😂😂😂 Never tried any other products, the blumaan fans are never wrong. Brilliant review again! Another product I'll pass on.
You are the best
In general I feel like Blumaan is at a poor price point. I can get Shear Revival, Arcadian, Flagship, Don Juan, etc. products all with equal packaging, more product, and often superior performance, for cheaper pricing.
Blumaan overhyped and overpriced because he makes youtube videos that gets lots of views
Faraz Rahman agreed, especially after the recent price increases
Can i get a heart? New to the channel💟
Id say its a very good product for what it does but the price is marketed too high, especially for those outside the US. Doesnt help its case when there are plenty of other products that are more ready available, cheaper and probably better too.
Top vid Robin & I've had some success with Label.M in da past & All Hail to da Messiah 😅👍
Man flicked us off for like 15 sec and the sound effects 😭😂
nice video robin , we r waiting for moroccan oil clay review
shriumar havaragi Will get it sorted ASAP. 🙏🏼
Wish he came out with an actual cream for long hair
2:20 the finger haha
What’s up with the whistling?
Please review CRAFTED matte paste by TheSalonGuy ❤️
I think you should really try Flagship's Blackwater (pre styling cream) its the best out there based from most people.
Whoever your editor is, give them a raise! These recent edits have been insanely funny!
What a normie ..

oh man that middle finger😂😂
I don't understand anything. I mean, i would like more demo
How’s that Timothy hair video coming?
The Fonz It’s edited and it’s ready to go. All scheduled. 👌🏼
Robin James Good lad
I'm here before Joe comments
Robin once again loved the review but not really a fan of the new sound effects. No offense, always love what you do on the channel 🙂
2:14 Wow, Robin flipping us off D:
Bring the mustache back!
WHAT’S WITH THE SOUND EFFECTS? 😆
they were so odd! 😂
J Mateö Just trying to add a bit of tonality to me talking about a hair cream. I liked it.
Even if it was good, I would be afraid the smell would be as bad as the other products from the BluMaan line. Hybrid cream clay actually seemed like a good product for my fine hair type, but I smelled that 1980's budget bar soap all day. It was so overpowering it actually caused a bit of nausea. The matte paste was even worse, with the cheap drug store cologne type fragrance that would not go away even after washing my hair. Joe seems like a nice guy with a lot of knowledge on hair, but I simply don't trust the BluMaan brand after my last purchase... Their "pomade" works great as a hair mask though.
I've been using the Kevin Murphy anti gravity cream for several months now and I don't see how it would be possible to make a product much better than that... other than making the same product without fragrance.
Ascend actually has a very different scent, it's very fresh and mild, you can't really smell it once it's in your hair.
That's exactly why I didn't enjoy this product. It made it felt crispy and rough. I wanted my hair to be lifted but still soft.
Same. Thin/fine hair type here, and that result was disappointing.
It depends on what hair texture you want. The anti-gravity makes your hair drier finish while cream category provide smoother and thicker finish. Mousse provide separate texture and makes your hair sticker. The length of this video or testing is too brief. It will be better if Robin gives more explanation on the type of products because it’s better to compare products in same category. Also, can also show how does your hair hold after you went out all day.
Pause at 2:22. Cheers Robin
