I just started doordash up here to in washington state, and no complaining when i do the deliveries, does help alot watching these videos, past 2 days just making 17.75 an hour, and for a little extra money to help with my plane ticket
Its not just for long miles its for any offer. Youll get the prorated amount. I saw the email break down from someone. So say its $2 for 5 miles. Youll get 40 cents added for each mile the order says. So its 2 miles itll put 80 cents on. 7 miles itll add $2.80 etc
I have that sleep issue most nights but I made it worse by drinking Diet Coke right before midnight. I was thirsty & nothing else sounded good. I regretted the decision immediately as I drank the last of it & more thought went through my head. 😅 Note to self: No diet coke after like 7pm lol I work 2pm-10pm so staying up a little later isn't so much of an issue but for my health I like to maintain a somewhat decent sleep schedule. Heather xo (The Canadian version has the identical label but we call it "Restoralax") 😂
I run the opposite direction when I see flowers on the list, especially if it's a Spark order. lol They're usually crappy looking ones where I shop. (Safeway usually has a nice selection, though.) I like real-time shopping. It's my favorite part when UA-camrs show the entire shopping action (or most of it). My second favorite is watching you all struggle up apartment stairs or struggle finding an apartment. I don't feel so alone then. 😂 As for the miles, I don't think I've ever seen peak pay where I am - NE Washhington. But I only do Dash Now at lunch. I've noticed the miles are higher in DD than they are on Uber. Uber miles are still within the 2-4 range. Spark miles are double from what they were last year. They've expanded the delivery area, which is good, because more people have access to it but I'm not delivering 18 miles away for an upside down rate; and that's primarily what I've seen, or barely a $1/mile. Spark still pays the best in my area, but I have to wait longer for the better offers. I'm assuming that will change when there's snow on the ground. Winter is usually pretty good over here.
I saw one of those mileage peak pays in my area recently! It was $1.80 for every 5 miles. So if the delivery was 2.5 miles, you'd get $0.90 extra. I only saw it once so far and it wasn't a time I was going to be out delivering.
the incentives need to add up for the distance period when top dasher was still around my ratings was so high i would get orders from to 2 zones away and the pick up was from the zone in between i get orders like this when the zone i'm in is literally dead at night like 3 and 4am even with a tip on the order of 10 bucks wouldnt make up the time and miles ware and tare on my ride thats a 30 mile round trip and there is a reason for set zones so i can work said specific zone which is 4 cities within it i'm good on that dont need more if door dash matched that 10 dollar tip makin it a 20 dollar tip plus the 1 or 2 dollar base pay i might've taken that order just to keep my ratings on par and try to keep it under a hour to get bk to my zone but instead i laughed at my phone said i see theres a 10 dollar tip but i dont know the zone theres a vast distance in between of somethin happening on the roads its 3am and i dont work this zone so probably better to not get a rating from this far out i'll probably never come this far out so dont want a rating to get called out here again the only good part of that order would be the incentive of 22 bucks if u can do it in under a hour but drivin thru 3 zones basically for 1 order is a no go on earn by order especially if the merchant was closed i had a idea that would fix this as platinum tier are your best drivers and are down to do this tideious non sense allow a feature that will allow you to switch on EBT on long deliveries let that be the top feature even above dash now problem solved that would give a reason to stay plat and give bad low tipping customers the same great delivery experience then the low rating bad dashers step up your ratings and getting rid of them entirely making the platform better
I finally made my first order as a customer on DD. I had issues and contacted support. They regurgitated the info on the website and said did I address your issue? Uh - no. I tried all of that otherwise I would not be contacting you. They were so rude and just were like well I gave you all the info I have and disconnected the chat. They are no nicer to customers than they are to drivers. So much for being helpful or friendly. My McDonald's order was picked up very quick. What DD suggested as a tip was ridiculous. $2.50.... no wonder the pay is so low. I knew better. I left a very good tip - got my food within 30 min and I hope I made the drivers day for 2pm on a Monday. 😁
Last week I got several offers where the miles were more than what they said it was going to be, for example I got an offer $12 for 13 miles and turned out to be almost 20 miles and the only way to get to the customer home was using a toll which I had to pay going and coming back. Also several wrong Addresses ( street name only and no house number) or just wrong street not matching store pick up. Customer service is useless so I always end up getting screwed... 😡
Not in my market for extra miles but for months 2+ on order will show up. Usually once a week. Yesterday it did. But after I stopped dashing. Offered to me after a few no tip orders, changing order after I accepted for a different order. They seem to offer orders and low mileage then accept and your going to a completely different place and longer miles. There’s a few lawsuits against DD for stealing drivers tips and using for pay per hour, ect… huge lawsuits in multiple states and I think it’s growing. They are looking into it in all states. I am always going 7-15 miles 🙄
Do you have the dashlink in your area yet? It’s only in a couple areas from what I understand and you’re starting to roll it out to other areas. It came to my area about a month ago.
That 7/11 was painful. I glad mine is always smooth and easy. I am protesting the fact you don't get the question on Wendys if they weighted the order lol. Gas here is $2.63
Uber customers are just so happy that their food is delivered in tact. They are chill, great tippers and so amazing compared to DD customers. Fact, I have never been tip baited by an Uber customer

I'm seeing $2, $2.50 and $3.50 with the "/ 5 miles". Always when its super busy. I was focused on Uber and hitting the bonuses this weekend... so have not tried it out yet on DD.
Also I always maintain 100% customer satisfaction rate on Uber because they APPRECIATE the drivers and don't act like drama queens. I have way more Uber customers adding an extra tip at the end compared to DD customers
Can anyone explain this scam to me? Yesterday I got two orders in a row from the same customer, one tiny in expensive item (one order was a dozen eggs, and one was a bottle of ketchup) plus one expensive item. As soon as I accepted the order they messaged and said they didn't want the expensive item. At first I assumed they just needed emergency eggs and didn't want to pay the small order fee, but then the second order came in and has me confused.
I'm in for Real Time! An issue with one of the shopping orders? 🤔Why'd you leave us hanging! This will drive me crazy for 2 days. If I wanted to guess, did it have something to do with the watermelon bowl? From my end, it's didn't look to good, but maybe it was the lights in the store. 🤷🏻♀Or was it something with that huge 61 item order that we didn't get to see? Btw, how long did that shop take?
It took just under a hour and 15 min to have it shipped and dropped off. Doordash has added another step when shopping for produce. Have to pay attention to the PLU on produce
It's the trouble customers that want the pictures taken, they are the same customers who ignore your texts and calls when you are giving them updates. Then they have the audacity to complain when they get sprite instead of mountain dew. Screw em.
Yes, I thought it was helpful: Mileage Pay -- raised my income for a little while. It was only $1.80 for every 5 miles. Someone else posted they were getting $3.60 -- jealous. But when I thought it was a good deal, the app would send me out of my region, and then wouldn't pay me the Mileage Pay. I assume, because the next region over didn't have the Mileage Pay. So, be careful about it. I don't know if it applies for accepting a destination within your region or from a pickup within your region, or both are required. All I know is that I didn't get it after I took a really long drive.
Door Dash can stuff it. Uber has base pay for 18.00, 28.00 in my market. Yeah you have to sift through garbage offers, but the banger offers are there. My AR is in the tank, so that has nothing to do with it.
Uber in my market has become trash. I’ve seen offers for 28 miles five dollars lately. I have to multi app to make the same amount that I used to make just with one app sometimes less.
Love the real time. Kind of cures my interest of what other Dashers go through. Keeps telling myself that I am normal 😁
I just started doordash up here to in washington state, and no complaining when i do the deliveries, does help alot watching these videos, past 2 days just making 17.75 an hour, and for a little extra money to help with my plane ticket
Too funny doordash was advertising on your doordash channel lol!
I always confirm n the stpre now because of the receipt photo

DD should pay $1 per mile period and we keep our tips
I pay 2.24 a gallon in amarillo texas
😂 trump is making it happen ❤

That was so sweet 💗 getting the roses 🌹 and dropping them off , it probably made the persons day 😻
Yo intro fire 🔥🔥😂😂
I wish! Every order is 5-15 miles in my area

shopping orders are my favorite, but I like seeing the pick up drop off videos too.
Here in Virginia, it started yesterday with 3.00 every 5 miles starting at 11:30 pm to 3:30 am!

Yeah the real-time videos would be cool I think and a nice change of pace here and there!

DD having a hard time getting those orders accepted, so they're resorting to lying now.

I love that… a Safeway and Albertsons stack 😂 it’s the same store basically!
That 7/11 was painful. I glad mine is always smooth and easy. I am protesting the fact you don't get the question on Wendys if they weighted the order lol. Gas here is $2.63
No profitability, no trip
I haven't seen that yet either.. I'm in the South Carolina area
Uber customers are just so happy that their food is delivered in tact. They are chill, great tippers and so amazing compared to DD customers. Fact, I have never been tip baited by an Uber customer
I here that Uber eats is going to schedule like doordash in some markets as a trial
The pictures are so random until it's after 10 PM and only drive-thru are open. Then they want a picture every single time.

I totally agree man, I'm so sick of doordash coddling to the idiot/dishonest drivers!!!!
Also I always maintain 100% customer satisfaction rate on Uber because they APPRECIATE the drivers and don't act like drama queens. I have way more Uber customers adding an extra tip at the end compared to DD customers
Door dash paid me 2 extra dollars for going out of my zone.
Speaking of gas.. 2.32 today..
That 711 moment omg smh
I always watch to the end. Even watch the ads. Well not exactly watch but let them play so you can pick up the ad revenue..
My area just dropped to $2.67 a gallon. Hopefully that hits you soon
If they’re out of 2% and 1%, just get them water
What's the other channel?
Let me know when you figure out the base pay thing!
You ever get orders going to ptown to avoid sales tax? 😂😅😂 the struggle
My local Wendy's is now weighing the finished order before handing it to dasher 😅
🤦🏻♂️ we have reached idiocracy levels of gig work
my local wendy's locks their doors if they are busy and I can never get in after 6:30 pm. I do not take orders from Wendy's anymore.
desirability = no tip a holes
There start that not my home area. But some in the West Virginia area

I paid 255 this morning
Dang, up here in Canuckistan we pay so much more than that...Google claimed 1.55 (Canadian dollars per liter) =
4.22123381 U.S. dollars per US gallon.
Is 2 resturants, two customers for $3.00 a desireable? Wish i took the screenshot. 🤦
So now it will be $4 for 5mi, still a big NO!!
Here before Lisa!
😆
Seriously????!!!! 😏
You're in northern ky
Gas here... 3.09
You never respond to my smoke signal. Starting to think you don’t like me.
