The authorities in the small town of Carl Junction, Missouri though that the satanic panic was all over hyped. What they would come to learn was that a group of boys, Jim Hardy, Don Clements, and Pete Roland were all looking for a sacrifice so the devil would give them special powers.

Exactly! How many times, in other cases, have the parents of the offender been scrutinized for not recognizing 🚩 in their child?
And gross. Most parents would either be too busy to notice he was having issues, or would be embarrassed and seek to try and hide his weird behavior. When someone actually cares enough to try and seek help and they’re basically ignored…disgusting

It's sad that I have seen people go to the authorities and go to the school and nothing being done with the parents being frustrated until something happens. It is so very sad to blame all parents when not all parents are bad. Lots of parents recognize red flags and they are ignored

3:34 It’s a bit frustrating when a concerned mother turns to professionals for help and receives advice that benefits no one other than the councilor or police officer providing that help with reassuring words like, “Don’t worry about it”, or “That’s normal “. It seems they don’t know what they’re doing, so they do nothing in the hopes they can keep their job, a job they don’t seem qualified to do. So much for preventing a crime before it happens! It seems there is plenty that could have been done to prevent this but I agree with the sentences. I am particularly impressed by how strong and smart a woman his mother is.

I was in foster care as a kid. If my brother and I weren't together in our journey I think I would be a lot different. It sucks big ass most of the time. Some people get lucky. I hate BUT I understand why it seems to tie into these monsters motives so often. GREAT VIDEO AS ALWAYS JILES ❤
I fought hard to keep my niece and nephew out of foster care after my sister died and before their grandmother could take them. The system is so broken most of the kids that go in are broken by it as well

My ex and I foster two sisters back in 1997-2003. They were neighborhood girls that my kids were friends with. The parents were abusive. I knew they were neglectful and the house was like something off of _Hoarders_ but I didn't know about the abuse. The girls were about to be separated and I couldn't have that. My kids were actually the ones who brought it up and asked if the girls could live with us. They were at our house a lot of the time anyway. They also usually ate dinner with us. I was a SAHM and cooked dinner and often lunch for everybody. I talked to my then husband about it and we decided to do it. We filed for and was given emergency guardianship of the girls and they moved in. I hated that they had to share a bedroom but we only had 4 bedrooms. My sons ended up sharing a bedroom too, but they didn't mind. My daughter is the only one who had her own room.
The girls had caring grandparents but they lived in Florida. Plus they were elderly and not in the greatest of health, so they weren't able to take the girls in to raise. I made sure that they were able to maintain a close relationship with the girls, though.
We had the girls just over 6 years and naturally I became very attached. They ended up being reunited with their mom...which I also encouraged once she got herself together. It's been 21 years since they returned to their mom but they still stay in touch with me. They're both married now and live out of state so I don't get to see them much. We do talk at least every other week or more.
I'll never understand some of these people who only foster kids for the money. Trust me, it's truly not enough to properly take care of a child. We were always spending extra money on the girls. I didn't mind. They deserved to be a little spoiled after what they had been through. I also cannot wrap my brain around how these foster parents ABUSE the kids. These kiddos are in the system because they've already endured a bad situation. How could anyone possibly abuse them again?!
I think the biggest tragedy is when siblings are split up. That's when they need each other the most!
Anyway, I'm glad you and your brother were kept together. I hope you both have healed your trauma and have a happy life. 💗
I honestly can say that I got more out of fostering my "bonus girls" than they got out of it. They taught me so much back then and continue to do so.

I simply can't comprehend how some foster carers abuse the child/ren in their care. As a true crime enthusiast, I have listened to many horrendous cases committed against kids in the foster system ... and, of course, by parents as well.
It's just diabolical, isn't it!

I was in foster care, and they took my brother away to a different house! Really messed me up, but I didn't go on to hurt people.

Absolutely , I was wondering the same thing. I raised two boys and a daughter and they all adore animals and have never even wanted to go hunting and We live in Alabama , they do love to fish though and they have never hurt anyone r each other r me and would never murder animals , except fish that We eat , they r all grown now and I still see them almost everyday. We're a very close family and I raised them alone after divorcing their father who drank and I didn't want them growing up in that. Seeing people say boys have thoughts of violence r want to hurt things , animals r people, is insane and if your child talks about hurting things r does hurt animals , U should get them help because that is not even close to normal smh

Idk, i’ve heard many true crime stories where people who torture and kill animals claim to be satanic. Richard Ramirez, for example. Obviously animal sacrifice traces back to many ancient societies is where they used most of the animal for food and then sacrifice the rest to deities…. these animals were not tortured. Back when i was in high school, my friend and i were hanging out at the local pool hall when two kids who were in to Satanism showed us a glass vial full of what they claimed was blood from a cat they had killed. We were like 14, and had started noticing cat heads impaled on sticks down by the local creek. Even at that age, it seemed lame. Like, you really think you're going to get magic powers, bro?

Hi Jiles.. big fan, love all of your content. I have never left a negative comment for anyone except for one other video and it was for basically the same thing. I understand that this is a "true crime" blood, guts and murder kinda channel, I do... but my issue is with the extreme amount and descriptions of the horrible, truly disgusting animal cruelty that you gave. Animal Abuse is a giant trigger for me which I also know is not your problem... but out of courtesy for anyone like me, would you at least put a warning in the title or a trigger warning at the start of the video? I am legit shaking while typing this to you.. which you will probably never even see at all. 😔 Thank you and I appreciate your hard work.

I’ve been a Luciferian for 20 years. Nothing these cringey edgelords did represents what satanists actually are. We take cruelty to animals and people very seriously and do not tolerate hurting anyone or anything. While we live by “do what thou wilt” my rights end when I trample on others. You are not supposed to bother other people while doing your own thing. The idea is that we are self governed and do not answer for sins or pray to god for help- because a god that judges and casts you out for just living life isn’t someone who has your best interest. Also if god is so powerful why does he allow terrible things- like this- to happen.
When you see someone advertising they are a satanist or witch- they aren’t. They are cosplaying for attention and want to seem intimidated. That goes against everything we do.

It seems like the only sane person was Ron's Mom, she was surrounded by incompetent fools.They all make my skin crawl.

In the mid-sixties, 2 rabbits and a duck were stolen from my friend's yard, on different occasions. Each time, we found the carcasses gutted. Okay, just some nut, like our neighborhood cat killer of years before, right? Except the blood and guts were gone. In retrospect, that was a Santeria thing, imo. What pleases some people is beyond my understanding
