@@JB-1184 Suspect chipset plays big part in power efficiency.
Previous phone (Xperia Z3 Compact) had great stand by battery life easily lasting 10 days without anything but middle power saving mode.
But current Samsung (Exynos based) Galaxy S8 hogs ~1% per hour with power save on and background transers, BT, Wifi etc disabled, if 4G network is enabled.
So have to set it to 3G/2G mode when not using data to get reasonable standby battery life.
With currently looking new such "compact flagship" class phone I'm definitely going to wait for S24 reviews to see if it's any good over 100% SnapDragon based S23 with Samsung back to feeding buyers their Exynos outside US.
Though Xiaomi 14 would seem interesting with better ultra wide and telecameras along with Qualcomm chipset.
That's assuming there's global/international release with proper support of different frequency bands.

Factory reset method to unlock OEM lock in pixel 4xl didn't work for me..... Can I unlock the OEM by using fast oem unlock command through command prompt???? Please guide me..

GSM Arena has rated the battery life of the Pixel 8 just under 90 hours. Even the Pixel 6a is better. Will these battery saving tricks vastly improve the device's battery life? Will it easily help me get just over a day use and between 5-6 hours of screen on time minus playing games or non stop streaming or navigation?

@@munchy_cool I had a Pixel 6a few months ago. But I'm asking you if the battery saving tips would definitely help. I don't want to buy a high value item like the Pixel 8 only to find out battery life I rubbish.

if you had battery drain with 6a, then 8 will not be much different either since its the modem which is a big reason for battery drain on Pixels ..if you using the 6a i would keep using it and wait for 9 at this point

As for me only 5G to LTE has worked
