I would add that respecting authority, sometimes, isn’t always what is cracked up to be. That’s how people join cults or give up their autonomy. The Milgram study shows that most give up their moral scruples to authority. But yes, 2020 seems especially weird.

My dad was one of the Marines who was on that last chopper out of Saigon, Vietnam. He loved old school SNL and he was a big Jack Nicholson fan - especially for his role in A Few Good Men, as well as his role in Batman as the Joker. I love and miss you so much, Dad.
