I've got the transacoustic model... love it without the effects, and love it with the effects especially for songwriting.
I’ve had one for like two years now. It’s a great guitar
Bought the csf3m last week … my first acoustic after years of strats, 335s, sgs, etc and I love it!!!
I have one. Got it last year. It is sweet!
I dont find them small tbh, its the dreadnought thats kinda big and often impractical for the average person. they also have a shorter scale so its easier to play them because of less string tension.
For some reason you guys look huge in this video!
Amazing that its an all wood construction, I'm gonna have to go for this one over the Taylor mini
Like small guitars. Parlors and 00 size ...., wonderful and easy to travel with. :-)
I have the CSF1. IMO there is not enough difference between it and CSF3 for the price. I added a LRBaggs Anthem, bone nut and ebony pins and it sounds amazing. Very well made. And the gigbag that comes with it is very nice. The TA version doesnt interest me, that's what my pedal board is for. But yes its a Yamaha and you cant go wrong.
Wow Shane - it was great to hear your comment. I ordered the CSF1M today, and have been freaking out and wondering if I should have paid the extra and got the 3M. I should get it in a couple of days but have been wondering now if I did the right thing. I actually didn't know the 3M existed until I got off the phone from ordering it at the shop. The salesman didn't tell me that there was an all solid model available. However, it was good to hear that you are satisfied with your 1M. Did you actually play them together side by side? You couldn't hear any appreciable difference?
Philip Sutton
Are you happy with yours?
I recently got the Red Label FS3 and I’m very impressed with the tone so I’m interested in their CSF model too and wondering which version to get.
@@fredflinstone3173 yes good question. When I finally received the guitar and held it, I realised it was too small for me. I had to send it back and got a credit and I replaced it with an all solid Maton 808 series. I'm extremely happy with the Maton and think it is a gorgeous guitar. I'm happy that you love the Yamaha and it is going well!
can u ship it to India?
They are small guitars that don't want to look big ... In my opinion they are the best in this category.
Not really small, its the dreadnought thats huge, these are nylon guitar size. The taylor mini is small
@@MrFree-vj8qj The GS mini is practically the same size as the CSF, search for videos comparing the two. The size of a nylon guitar cannot be a reference as steel guitars are of different sizes.
@@MrFree-vj8qj What does nylon guitar size mean?
I have a csf3m and let me tell you, these guys aren't doing the instrument justice. It's not just for kids and travel, rather, it's a great-sounding small guitar that's very playable for beginners and seasoned players alike If you like the extra gimmicks, that's fine, but it sounds great without them.
I like parlor size
Comparing lx1 martin , which is better
Love all of your vids! Any chance you will be taking the new Taylor American Dream for a test ride?
yes, of course. the second we have it in our hands!
I still don't know if the sunburst is the one or the three. I wanted to hear the three. Please get your story straight before you begin.
Yes, I am a "petite" person and since selling my Larrivee (a little sad) I am on the search for a parlour guitar :D
Not keen on transacoustic idea. i like natural long sustain from a good top and quality tonewoods.
Not meaning to offend you talk a lot and don’t really explain enough about models & spec its not good enough for us amateur chaps, we are looking for info not chatty Conversation. Happy new year though.
Hey guys. Between csf1m and the taylor gs mini, which should I go for?
Just picked up a csf1m at a local shop. You can't go wrong
the gs mini sounds 10 times bigger and better
@@sooparticular bass is boomy on the taylor. The Yamaha more balanced. Imo.
@@sooparticular a basic gs mini sounds terrible
Can you remove what looks like a piece of plastic for info on volume etc and just have the knobs.. Wish they did not have that look. Thanks!
EL Holt. Yes. It can be removed easy.
It is removable.
sounds better and bigger then santa cruz firefly
I’ve always thought everything Japan made is user friendly, now include guitars!
Why in the world would you not review the specs before filming? Lol
Stop This Train 😏
I know it’s 3yrs later but this demo was not very convincing of a quality product
You don't know if you're reviewing the solid wood model? If you're going to spend the time to do a review then show some professionalism and know what you're reviewing.
