    Upgraded Unbleached Bone Saddle and full setup done up by Jarvis Wong of THE GUITAR SPA SINGAPORE
    guitarsaddle@hotmail.comCompact body, full-size sound
    The compact size of CSF makes it outstandingly comfortable to play and easy to transport; it’s the perfect guitar to take your music with you wherever you go. And thanks to an all-new design, the compact body packs a sound that’s rich, vibrant and full.
    The secret to great resonance
    The design of the CSF series utilizes newly-designed scalloped bracing that delivers rich, full-bodied resonance. The use of a forward shifted construction maintains the strength of the body while maximizing the vibration of the guitar’s top.
    Two different configurations
    Each CSF series guitar boasts a top made from a single sheet of Sitka spruce and mahogany sides and back. The CSF3M uses solid-wood back and sides for even better resonance.
    Functional, durable hard bag
    All CSF guitars come with a durable hard bag that you can sling over your shoulder for safe, easy transport.
    Pickups for great live performance
    CSF series guitars are equipped with the Zero Impact passive pickup, allowing you to plug in to an amplifier or PA system for natural, dynamic acoustic sound when playing live.

    I just played one today I was skeptical I was like well I know itd be good for blues I started playing on it I was like whoa!!! Did not expect the fullness and richness it had even while strumming and the volume for a guitar of that size was crazy almost as much as my full size fg. Highly recommend one to anyone I was looking for a full size guitar but wow I might have to go a different route.

    Thank you for doing these videos for the CSF guitars. After watching many videos, I put my money on a CSF3M, and I couldn’t be happier. It won’t replace what bigger guitars do, but it is an excellent guitar in its own right. Thanks.

    I'm a long-time beginner and on a whim bought myself the CSF3M for festivus after seriously considering the DJr and the GS Mini. So far I'm loving the Yamaha and find it to be the easiest-to-play guitar of any I have played (not that there have been that many). I should have gotten this thing a decade ago. I look forward to swapping out the urea with bone and trying some mediums on it.

      Another long-time beginner here. I’m considering csf1m, Gs mini, Martin Djr10 and Yamaha FS830. Now I have a The Loar LO216 (nice parlor with 25,5” scale). But I can’t try any of this guitars where I live? Did you tried Martin and Taylor before buying your Yamaha? Why it is better in your opinion?

    • @BW-qf5gs
      @BW-qf5gs 3 роки тому +2

      @@sagutxo82 I can't say any of the three is better. I like that the CSF3m is all solid wood and costs less than the others. After I bought it, the local guitar shop had the Taylor in koa for $650, so I was kicking myself a little, but much and not for long.

    I have the CHF1M Wanted something with a good sound and easy on my 69 year old arthritic shoulder and hands. I haven't played much on accoustic since I sat on my '73 FG 75 yrs ago. After playing my old 90s Strat for so long it's pretty hard for me to play well on this one. Its sure puts out some good tones for such a small body and the board is kinda high. A capo helps alot. Kinda learning to play my old 60s Silvertone. My 1st. It's getting easier. It was worth the money.

    I've been looking for a review of these two guitars, but they were all against other brands. This was great and I agree that the 3 had a little bit better sound, however, in my case I'll probably get the laminated one as it will be my drag around guitar and I think it will hold up better to my climate (S. Louisiana) and my small Chevy Astro Van.

    Sounded like he changed both saddles and nuts on both guitars, before the review. The factory nut was too high. I think this means the one I buy, with factory settings, will never sound as good as his. I wish he'd do a video on the saddle and nut work he did. Or at least do a review of before lutherie work and after tone samples.

    • @bengreenwellmusic9225
      @bengreenwellmusic9225 2 роки тому +1

      Just to let you know I’ve got the CSF3. I’ve not altered the saddle at all but the nut had been filed underneath before I bought it.
      It is the most comfortable and fun guitar to play I’ve ever owned and I find it hard to put it down.
      I’ve had to but fastfret to clean the strings as it gets played so often.
      When I’ve plugged it into my Trace Elliot acoustic amp it sound amazing but the amp has a built in pre-amp.
      When I took it to an open mic night the sound engineer complained about the lack of gain on pickup.
      I have a pre-amp that I could take to open mics but I think I’ll replace the pickup for ease in performance situations.
      Hope that helps! 🙏

    Can i ask you just one thing that i don’t understand due to my bad English . :)
    You replace only the saddle with a bone one! Or both nut and saddle!?
    Cause I replace only the plastic nut with a bone one, and I’m waiting for the saddle.
    Also ordered ebony bridge pins :) .
    I’m asking just because I’m noticed a more deeper sound with less sparkle with a bone but but the plastic one imho was more clear and snappy

      Nathaniel Sie Kiat Wong Both guitars are equally & relatively loud for a 3/4 sized guitar. I would say that the DJr has more bass than the CSF3M. Actual physical size of the Yamaha is slightly smaller but “shapelier” than the DJr.

      Nathaniel Sie Kiat Wong For a young girl, I am assuming for your daughter, then Little Martin LX1E may be a better choice than CSF3M or DJ, due to its smaller size. Jarvis has a review on Little Martin too. Check it out. Btw, City Music is having a 20% sale for little martin, DJr & many others. Yamaha, Plaza Singapura is having a 15% sale for the CSF3M.
