    Towards the end of this I realized that I had been smiling the entire video. I watched the Braves with my dad every single night on TBS. Some of my favorite memories.

    Good ol' Bobby. I remember him saying in an interview that he sent the league a $10,000 check for future fines, and to call him when the money ran out. 158 ejections lol. Love my Braves, past and present.

    This is a once in a lifetime happening.You will never see 3 starters of a pitching staff, a position player,a manager and a General Manager all elected to the hall of fame within 3 years of each other. Us Braves fans were spoiled beyond measure!

      Andrew L That means the Twins, Blue Jays we’re garbage in your mind? I grant you the ‘96 Series; but the ‘99 Yankees were better. So tell me how are the choke artist? Getting through a 162 games schedule is easy in your mind especially with the turnover that happened every year.

      So spoiled to all those World Series losses and that one win huh? Team of the 90s won less World Series than two other teams in the 90s. Braves were a Great team with great players, but man they really dont have much to show for it.

    I loved Maddux. He was so good and made every kid that wasn’t blessed with the best genetics believe they could make it. He wasn’t a physical freak, but he had such control of his pitches. He put it right where he wanted.

      Maddux was a great fielder as well. Possibly the best as a pitcher. He's got the Gold Gloves to prove it.

    I'm 67, almost 68, years old and the idea of just being at that table listening to these guys makes me feel like a little boy! I loved to watch these guys play .. made me a Braves fan for a few years.

    Bobby Cox’s ejections were totally entertaining since he made history of getting more ejections than any other manager in MLB history. Although, he denies fiery temper tantrum. He just protects his players. Plain and simple. Good going, Bobby!! 👍

    Man, that is awesome. We need more of that. Love listening to Hall of Famers talk baseball/life. There is a video clip of Alex Rodriguez, Frank Thomas and Pete Rose talking hitting. Thomas and A-Rod were silent just listening like little kids as Rose was talking about his approach. It was on Fox before one of the playoff games a couple years ago.

    My God the memories that flood back seeing these guys together. Waking up as a kid on Sunday at 11am knowing the Braves played in an hour with either of these three on the mound and Chip in that lineup and hearing Bobby from the dugout "Ata baby" Man.

      He is a big star for the Braves before Chipper Jones came in the picture.
      An 80s Braves legend. Won the MVP award back to back.
      Unfortunately he did not make Cooperstown after 15 tries. Now it's only 10.

      @@chrisgast I understand. I was barely alive when he was still with the Braves. In the early 90s, he got traded or was signed to the Phillies and then he retired before 1995.

      Dale Murphy is not at the table. It's Cox, Maddux, Jones, Smoltz, Glavine, and former GM John Sheurholz. Dale Murphy is about 6'5"...Sheurholz 5'11" at best.

    Living on the west coast as a boy Braves games were always on in the early afternoon and I spent every summer break of the late 90s watching them play. Maddux, Smoltz, Glavine, Neagle, Millwood, Chipper, Andruw, Javy, Galarraga, Klesko, Graffanino, Weiss. Studs, all of em. And of course, Cox.

    Glad to see Bobby Cox with his kids. What a dynasty Braves had. Andruw Jones missing. Klesko, Javy Lopez, McGriff, Galarraga, Dion Sanders, Avery, Pendleton to name some. List is long.

    Actually Boone tagged at second and was called safe. It was bottom of the 4th and you were down 1-0. After that you unloaded the bats and ended up winning 11-5. I loved seeing Bobby get tossed.

    While everyone at that table is loved in Braves Country, I think most identified with Chipper because he sounds like someone's uncle at a football tailgate telling silly stories while knocking a few beers back. He is the only former player at the table born within the traditional Braves fan base.

    Funny story here with my dad.. 88 or 89. We're at a baseball card show in the ATL Hilton i believe, weekend trip to see a ball game from East Tennessee, two lines for autographs.. one was smoltz and the other was tommy Gregg. So my dad picks the tommy Gregg line. Me and my brother wrapped that signed baseball up every Christmas and would give to our dad EVERY year up until he passed recently 😂😂

    I believe it was Smoltz who one time late in a game when Leo came out to talk to Smoltz and told him he had to get this next guy out or Bobby was coming to get him. He told Leo to tell Bobby to keep his ass in the dugout cause he ain’t coming out of this game.

    I was born in the late 80s just outside of Atlanta not too far from where Truist Park is today. The guys at this table along with any ball player to wear the tomahawk in the 90s were gods amongst men to a 10 year old Braves fan.

      True to that!!! Well said! I remember it was like time stopping as a kid when they got their first playoff birth. The entire neighborhood in Lawrenceville was outside screaming. I’m so glad that now my son and I can share that same magic. The look on his face when we won the WS last year and I knew it created a special memory he’d never forget and it would always no matter how old he was, bring him back to his childhood just like seeing this will always bring me back to mine.

      I just had turned nine when they won the WS back in 95 so I hadn't really grasped the concept of playoffs and championships just yet, but the Braves holding up that trophy is forever etched in my childhood memories.
      This past WS was amazing except for one thing - my grandfather passed away in 2020. I would've given anything to celebrate the win with the man who taught me how to play baseball.

      He turned me into a Braves fan and was my favorite player as a young kid in the early-mid 80’s. Unfortunately his peak came before these guys sitting here and he was off the Braves by 1990.

    I saw the highlight it was Braves were down 1-0 early in the game, but later it was 7-1 at one point (forgot final score). Everything in the story is right.

    Had that same crap happen to me not the ejection but i was playing 2nd and there was a pickoff move to 2nd and i held the tag and he said safe but i look down his hand is a inch of the bag and i start say hes not on and he never came and looked
