Nice to see Dan continuing with music. I still love blasting Volumes debut “Via” album 🤟🤟
this guy is producing some of the biggest bands right now. thats so awesome
Very helpful, thank you!
Q. Mastering for release on streaming platforms, what was your target loudness meter setting, using Control Hub.
I saw in a urm video he talked about Spotify being at -12 lufs and apple at -14 but he mixed a Spiritbox song at -9 lufs
Kinda new the basic Lufs numbers going in. But would be kinda cool to see STL Tones take on hitting the target loudness within the ControlHub plugin. Thanks again for the reply! @@Schpacky
@@ToneAddictions yeah man it's definitely a learning curve with my band (Bind The Dark) we found that Spotify was cutting off transients if anything was higher than -12 lufs which ended up cutting a lot of low end. We have a neve portico 2 and it's like man you lose all that sauce. It's a tricky game but yeah I agree I would to see stl tones do that especially with Dan. Dayseekers newest album is pure fire and sounds so effen good on Spotify!
I'll check them out , Dayseekers and your band as well . Thanks again for the chat, Scott
@@scottlee421 Epic my friend! Super appreciate it!
Nice to see that Jim Carrey is making mastering
Have you ever tried using plugin doctor to see what it does? Oh nah of course not, just shilling something you would never touch
Terrible music, ain't worth mastering 😅
