Yes that scene is pretty funny with the spetnaz and delta force officers arguing with each other is hilarious and it's literally a typical cold war interaction.

There's something really enjoyable about watching these battle record videos. Personally still looking forward to the eventual (possible) coverage of Yokohama Defensive, because good lord that's gonna be one hell of a mess.
Also. With Alternative basically developing next generation combat software and top of the line TSF's like F-22 and other 3rd gens if produced in large enough numbers could also have bought humanity more time before something like operation 21st needed to happen. Though personally i still think the usage of non super weapon plasma and coilguns should be added eventually into this universe. Produced in enough numbers that the BETA don't just swarm focus on the units that do have them if they tried rushing them to the front.
Yeah, we can see clear signs that the tech is starting to improve at a rate that proves humanity can gain the edge conventionally. The railgun tests and the Susanoo were essentially proof of concept that if they invested in developing TSFs and these weapon systems more, they could turn the tide. Unfortunately, Operation 21st needed to happen because Alternative V was forcing their hand and trying to get Operation Babylon/Trident going to overrule the idea that better TSFs and weapons were a good idea. But our good friend, the dreaded G-Bomb, symbolically a gift from the devil, is a big part of the reason why humanity just can't fully get behind the hard work it takes to win, even when they've technically done a pretty solid job in that regard.
@@yamamotomechbattles tbf they've been handed nothing but loss after loss for like what half a century? Given that context it makes sense some people what to just G bomb and save whats left or just call it quits and evac. Still hopefully this next season doesn't end where the VN does. You would think that it being a UN base, that there would be, oh I don't know, ANOTHER QRF NEARBY?!?!?!?!? Like C'mon man. Anyway, good work as always man :)
Well, they did have a squadron of F-16's on alert. They just didn't plan on one of the pilots being RLF. I'm more surprised they didn't have anything for the research facility. Seems like there was a bit of a screw up there.
As Yukon Base was sort of UN controlled buffer zone between the US and USSR, I think there was supposed to be a lack of sizable forces on each side of the fence. That's why Yuuya notes that there isn't supposed to be a battalion of F-15s stationed at Fairbanks. So each side probably isn't allowed to build up on the border, but they were expected to contribute a battalion to Yukon Base to help with its defense
@@Plaprad There was a throwaway line about how MLRS units were supposed to be stationed at BETA research facilities, probably somewhere nearby so as to just dump munitions all over the site if they get loose. But no details as to if they were there at Yukon or what would've happened to them. I think the RLF would've taken them out if they had been stationed nearby

Nice video as always, I want to ask a question regarding Total Eclipse.....is the Battle of Evensk Hive that crucial to the survival of A-04 & Kashgar Strike Force ?
Yeah it definitely was, because the Laser Fort was trying to fire at the Kashgar Strike Force, and probably would've crippled if not destroyed the Susanoo
@yamamotomechbattles I see, so the barrahe of Heavy Lasers in Kashgar already bad enough. Tho I can't imagine how many of Laser Fort class out there, if there's a few of em then the distractions around the world is very crucial.
@@spikmaster18 I think there was only one, but there could've been more if A-01 didn't succeed. My personal theory is that the Laser Fort was created because when the humans refined G-Elements to create the Railgun, the BETA captured its parts and were able to improve on the design even further and create the Laser Fort, so there was only one at the time.
