My husband and myself go for breakfast out to the same coffee shop every day with our 3 year old.
Since 3 weeks an old man started to casually give her a flower from the garden once in a while and it develop to everyday bringing her something, each time more elaborated. He comes, drop his present and goes very casually...he doesn't even talk to her. Drops the little thing and goes to his table.
Today we test to ask him not to give her things every day, and he tried to fight it... casually saying that yesterday was Sunday and and he doesn't see her on Sundays!!!
The comment itself scared us!! What it look something like inocent now sounded more and more strange....so we will cut him completely, just in case ..

On summer I went for a swim, a little girl asked if she can borrow my inner tube, I told her no because she shouldn't borrow things from strangers.
We need to protect our children by building a trusting relationship wuth them. If they know they can tell us everything, it decreases the likelihood of them becoming victims.
That trust can be the biggest blindfold for parents, because you think you can trust your child back and pedos know it, and use very evil ways to use that against them. I have been labeled a vigilante in California for hunting these sick people, and exposing them, they even blackmail familys that find out into silence, or threaten the child, so yeah... Teach your child more than trust; be vigilant over what people can find out about you, and your children, and teach them not to be too open, online, with a nieghbor, or even family that fit the common M.O.
@@aedincorpe1060 There is no "being too open". I don't do anything I would be ashamed about and that is what I'm teaching my children. Don't ever do something you would be ashamed to confess.

I hope you didnt think I was challanging any notion you have, just expanding on it so anyone who may not be so equipped doesnt find themselves betrayed by trust. For example, recently I caught a friends 15 y/o hanging out with a nieghbor without her fathers knowledge, because she knew he trusted her to comply with his rules when he was away. Well turned out that nieghbor who even won over his trust too, turned out to be a Sex offender who never reported his address change from another state.
If a grown man wants to spend time with your child to "have fun and play" .. Get that perv out of your life. I had to break my uncle off, signs were too much, 60 year old man has no reason to play wrestling with a 2 year old child, let alone showing up to my house just to spend time with my son. Not on my watch. I straight told him to stay away from my home and my children. He got offended, but im not taking any chances buddy.
My grandparents home became a play ground for my uncle because there was always my cousin's more girls than boys. I was told when I was 22yrs old that it was too late to do anything about it.
A purge needs to occur, i.e., the cycle needs to end. These people are everywhere. They give me anxiety.

I know a guy who got close to one of his students after she had a breakdown, he gave her his number and told her she can reach out to him whenever she needs to talk to someone. The 13 yr old girl did reach out and they became “friends” eventually he groomed by buying her stuff, and they both had a 2 month “relationship”. Thankfully her classmates noticed the weird interactions and they reported it to the school authorities. That guy is free on bail but I know justice will be serve for all involved. He’ll go jail soon I hope and pay for all he did.

I was groomed by a teacher in the 90s. Age 14. He took me outside the classroom for silly errands with him at least once. And so much more. He threatened to use corporal punishment on me and it’s illegal in my state. Looking back I know it was about power control and sex. I told him no and you’re not allowed. Because he knew I would say something maybe he didn’t go further. He acually asked me if I would like it. He has a special nickname for me even when I told him to stop. He paid me all he attention groomed victims get. He also showed me a photo of a former female student he said is one of his old favorites (another sign of a pedophile). I believe I was groomed and luckily when he saw I would fight the first big contact he stopped a little. I’m scared even now to come out because he is still important part of community and more than a teacher

@@unclemurphy3552 Because this video attempts to correlate sociopathy and psychopathy with pedophilia which is a theory the more recent research explicitly disproves. While a pedophile CAN be a psychopath or sociopath (e.g. Westley Dodd) the fact remains that the majority of pedophiles aren't particularly dangerous on that magnitude. Rather this video is nothing more than fear mongering and presupposes a harm which does not concretely exist in the real world.

I would disagree with this- because IF this is true then every parent or relative is guilty of so-called "groming" behavior. Furthermore, given that much of pedophilia occurs within the nuclear family, much of this is inapplicable. Rather, this concept of "grooming" may be innocuous or it may not depending on the specific circumstances.

And Im sure that the idea of telling it exactly how it is displeases you and others due to being uncomfortable with the subject matter, but that in no way justifies your accusations as being anything other than a cheap and ill-advised ad hominem attack, which only works to further demonstrate the weakness and/or patent falsity of your own argument.
The problem for the OPs argument is that if we take the argument that grooming is a distinct pathology, then by import of definition of what the pathology of the disorder is in scientific terms (e.g. the entire line of all biological and psychological processes which directly or indirectly result in, or which function as a discrete testable marker said to be a risk factor of, a diagnosible condition having a discrete set of symptoms said to define the disorder)
We must then be able to distinguish it in every respect from all similar states which we agree to be nonpathological.
This is to say that for grooming to be pathological we must distingish its elements to completely opperate distinctly differently from the construct of dating behavior which is not an independent pathology, such that we can objectively state that A in no way, shape, or form, overlaps B unless the overlap is at least three steps removed from each other in the analysis.
In turn, that means we cannot argue that because grooming is accessory to pedophila such that grooming is then per se pathological because the functional behavior is identical for all scientific purposes to what we call dating in the adult context apart from the difference of the objective of the intention - which is either an adult or a child. This is to say that It is the objective intention (e.g. adult vs. Child) which constitutes the pathology, not the methodology of obtaining it unless the methodology is only seen in relation to the disorder and is seen absolutely nowhere else.
So unless you can identify how the behaviors themselves are distinctly different such that we cannot correctly call it dating behavior apart from the context of a child, we cannot then call grooming - which has no detailed objective standardized definition as to be able to systematically diagnose it - a pathology, because ends vs. means are seperate, distinct, and independent inquiries.
Therefore, please kindly fuck off.
