I guess you have to head to the surrounding towns for food or coffee etc, nothing open on the beach. I could live like that, I would definitely be out in shorts for sure as in Canada, no comparison :/
Oh no no no you can always find a coffee bar open no matter what. That and a smoke store and basic groceries. They had it here just not in the super historical part. Italians cannot live with out socializing around coffee.
