Been there in Tropea 3 times never get tired to visit it’s just beautiful so much to be discovered in Calabria I personally think that it’s the most beautiful place of all Italy and people are so kind and warm I just love it
From India The video of Calabria beach is so lovely We are fortunate to view this place on UA-cam And it is even more great to know people are warm and friendly
I've visited Calabria a few times because my grandparents were from Maida and Malito. Flying into Lamezia is simple. I actually was surprised to find great accommodations clean and inexpensive there too! A rental car is essential but it also allows one to visit many off the tourist map beaches. Just north of Pizzo are fab huge white beaches! Yes, lots of horrible 90's vacation homes along the coast but there are gems with views in the older towns. BTW, I think Reggio Calabria is definitely worth a visit too! Love seeing your children. God bless your wife for her patience with the little ones.
@@DauvO Thanks for replying. How about a video on how to get to Calabria and options to get around calabria? Renting a car or scooter perhaps? That would be awesome if you can include that knowldege in one of your upcoming vlogs. Grazie mille Signor DauvO.
@@DauvO I always thought that the videos of you visiting the 1 euro properties were very enjoyable and interesting. I think more interviews with people that have actually made the move to Italy would be useful.

Hi DavuO do you happen to know is that a building or just a wall where all those arches were that people were parking in the bottom? Tropea is a lovely little city I would love to visit one day. Thanks for sharing! 💜
I don't know for sure. I had imagined it was just a support structure for that section of the town, but now that you mention it, there might be a room or two inside.

Ciao! Really enjoying your videos. I love in a little village in Campania. I’m curious - what do you use for recording. Any recommendations for a brand of stabilizer for your phone? Grazie ☺️
I went to gopro for stabilization benefits. I haven't found anything better. I've had some suggestions given to me for gimbals for phones, but I always found them awkward to manage while walking around quickly. Sorry I can't suggest any brands. I know it is easier to get started with a phone that you always have available.
Hi Dauvo Love the look of tropes and would love to visit one day Any chance you could visit the area of. Manfrddonia North of Puglia one day and check out prices there near the beach.
Wow David what beautiful beaches you have, it is so cold here, fell in love with the area with in the first 5 seconds. The rocks are just special. The cathedral was so special, gorgeous murals. The town looks very kept up, if you know what I mean. Thank you for a great video.
Hello, I've been watching your videos and I like so much...so, I'm Brasil, but I have italian citizenship from my grandparents. Well, Ivein Italy many times as tourist, but now I'm thinking go live there as a second house. I see you have been walking through a lot of places in Italy, even at South Italy, where I'm thinking to bought a condo...so, could you give me some information about the prices of southern houses? I thought about Scalea.. .
Oi DauvO, very cute to hear your kids speaking italian ! How is the Alfa 145 running, die yet ? I am still in Brasil, say Hi to my Californian Calabria friend
I still have the Alfa but considering to use it for the bonus for going electric that is happening here. Probably the only time the car will be valued so high. Thanks for what you said about the kids
The view from that overlook was breathtaking! The Tyrrhenian Sea I’m guessing. I won’t see it, but I looking forward to comparing look and feel of Adriatic vs Ionian . All look great to this guy!
Certainly Tropea is among the (many) beautiful places in Calabria! Another couple of examples that immediately come to mind are those which, although very different from each other, are also defined as the "small Venezie", both overlook the Tyrrhenian Sea, that is, Sibari Lakes (province of Cosenza), in the north of region, and Scilla (province of Reggio Calabria) to the south (here you could dive into the sea from the window of your house! 😁) It goes without saying that the Ionian side is also beautiful (Costa degli Aranci for example)! 👍 If we start from the Calabrian hinterland, another world opens up with three national parks (Aspromonte, Sila and Pollino), one of which (Aspromonte) is a candidate to become a UNESCO World Heritage Site thanks to its particular biodiversity! Greetings from Calabria! ✋
The only problem (especially if you are fortunate enough to bring your children there) is that it completely ruins them for EVERY other beach you will ever go to!
True, I was going to order it through a new company because the shirts I got had design flaws, but I haven't organized it yet. Sorry for the wait! Hoping the quality is better on the next option.
Great video Dauvo and I loved the beautiful sunset shots. I haven't had a chance to visit Tropea yet but definitely plan to next time I return to Italy. By the way, how do you access that map view in immobilare.it that gives you the colors corresponding the prices per sq. m. for properties in the area?
