You could do this exact same thing with a big umbrella and have it double diffused like a booklight

Nice one, given the siutation and background would it make sense to flag the light from the wall on the left? Feels like its a bit jarring when the interior in the background is much darker than that bright strip of wall.

@kevinli6502 definitely could! I kind of liked the contrast. Therefore, I left it, but for sure!
