@@dazaiosamu7518 Canada does all these apparently in Montreal. But they definitely have help and sponsors from American companies that want to contribute. Last year I think vans helped with it.
Love how they bring in Wade as their skate God but have an entire event making fun of his gangster style. Most epic shit ever. Love this event.

I'm super late to this comment, but that's one of my FAVORITE things about skateboarding. The hype. How much EVERYONE goes WILD, when someone lands something sick, a new trick, or something they've been trying forever. I just left the skatepark, and that's all everyone was doing. Hyping each other up. Some dude, who was like 18, landed his first kickflip today, not thinking he would when he tried it, standing still, and I was the ONLY person who saw it lol. But I hyped that dude the FUCK up. That kickflip he did was SO clean, and just perfect. So he deserved it. And shit, I've done nollie front side bigspins before. Some of the guys there today, have seen me do them. But I was really struggling with them today, for some reason. Got one, and everyone wigged out. It's things like that, that get people into skating. That makes people better skaters. That makes the person who is thinking about giving up, want to keep skating. There's always gonna be that one asshole, just about everywhere you go. But overall, the skateboarding community is AMAZING, and SO supportive of each other. That's just how it is, she how it always will be (I hope). I know at least 50% of the craziest shit I've ever done, I tried, and landed, because I had people rooting for me. And it pushed me to land it. Support and positivity go a LONG way.
