      What a ridiculous statement 😅

      God gave free will
      We’re slaves to ourselves
      Not God
      Without God morality ceases
      Without morality life ceases
      Without reason, there is meaning
      God is Reason
      (Don’t get this confused)

Anyone looking to round out their philosophical or political understandings should go read Bernardo Kastrup for a good defence of Metaphysical Idealism. It's a shame Christianity has tainted Idealism for so long but it's time to move on from the religious nonsense and recognize the primacy of consciousness at the same time.

No, it was always bs. The implications assumption is the inferiority of the material world.

Love his critiques of religion but don't agree with his metaphysical materialism or that economics determines history.

    • @sistemacrata

Boy, his materialism is anything but metaphysical... it is closer to positive science, and one should considere that there wasn't other perspectives of science at his time.

@@angelmossucco this is an introductory video: ua-cam.com/video/Mc7GjJq_fDQ/v-deo.htmlsi=s1tK0wNHL5SFwDYs . Now, you will have to dig in history, from Comte to The Vienna Circle to Popper, for a better understanding. But don't get me wrong, I'm not fond with positivism. And I'm pretty sure that if Bakunin would had meet the Genetic Epistemology of Piaget, he would had a lot of evidence and a theory to back his anarquism.

@@angelmossucco there is an introductory video called "What is positivism" in the channel Language and Ideas. It's pretty concise. I can't share the link though.

Choose your master. Would you be a slave to your self destruction, or to your creative nature? This is Christianity. It isn't unidimensional. It's multidimensional. It relates to all aspects of man and since we cannot understand our subconscious layers, we need the wisdom of planting seeds that do not destroy ourselves and others. It's also very simple. Those who call this religion are simply looking for a way out of taking full responsibility for themselves by serving the Truth. Which is Christ. It may be bitter. But it's better than continually hurting yourself for a lie.

It's funny. I've noticed similarities in these anti-christianity philosophies. These guys try to take the inverted position from Christianity and say thus the opposite must be good. I think it's short sided and kinda ignorant to nuanced thought. The various attainments of philosophy and invention were due to pressure Christian policies. Therefore....

This man was pure filth and evil.
Marx rarely openly discussed metaphysical matters, but we can gather information about his views from people he associated with. Marx, along with the Russian anarchist Mikhail Bakunin, established the "First International." Bakunin wrote:
"The exalted evil, the rebellion of Satan against God, is the flowering of human liberation in this rebellion, which is the revolution. The phrase by which socialists identify themselves is, 'In the name of the one who was treated unjustly.' Satan, the eternal rebel, is the first free thinker and savior who shamed people for their base ignorance and obedience; Satan liberated humanity, stamped the mark of liberation and humanity on people's foreheads, incited rebellion, and made them eat the fruit of knowledge."
Bakunin not only praised Lucifer but also had concrete revolutionary plans, though these plans would not save the exploited poor. He wrote:
"In this revolution, we must awaken the devil in people's hearts to arouse their basest passions. Our mission is to destroy, not to teach. The desire for destruction is the desire for creation."
