As someone who works in IT My reaction: "ok" Lol Windows 10 is only receiving updates for another 18 months, it's good that they are starting to move people over now. The usage of users between windows 10/11 being half, same thing happened with XP/Vista. Like you said there's not that many differences between 10 and 11 to the regular consumer. The regular consumer never wants to upgrade, but you should. Any reputable IT company has not been giving out Windows 10 devices to employees for years now unless they are special deployments or use cases that specifically require Windows 10.
One time I turned on my pc and it was like forcing itself to install windows 11 without even asking me, I had to restart my pc 3 times before it gave me the option to skip
Fudge...we will see because they had something like a checker a while back to see if you can upgrade to 11, but i got errors saying I cannot update something about the hardware not compatible....then I might have to buy a new laptop.....

I think in your case it will just leave you alone. To my understanding it only happens mainly to people with compatible systems
