7:40 we know what you're saying, but that would be impressive, as if you could be comparing different versions of Squidtrainers you secretly managed to collect over time. This was a banger video! Love how you got to give us close up shots for every bali.
I was so happy when you mentioned that the Triton V2 was at the top of your list on aluminum Squidtrainers, um, you know what I mean🤣I had so many mixed feelings getting the Triton V2 as my first bali, happy that it came, nervous that I'd drop it, afraid I wouldn't be able to flip and just didn't have the skills, sad that someone else could've gained skills on this bali, but now it's stuck with me. But I gave it time and I'm glad it helped me start flipping!
I was pretty surprised that the Triton V2 came out on top over the Squidtrainer and the kraken trainer though, since ppl do get the kraken trainer to transfer to the live blade (can switch the trainer blade for the live), and the Squidtrainer is heard to be the most neutral of all Squidtrainers (yes, I'm gonna call it that from now on)🤣but, hooray for Triton!!!
As for the Nautilus trainer, it's said that the scales didn't have jimpings for they used the same scales from V1 (me still not understanding why couldn't just make V2 scales), but Spasmfingers did make Nautilus scales with jimpings, and heard the grip is a lot better. So probably Spasmfingers did the job.
I don't have the others though, but my Squiddy Al is coming in soon! Can't wait to flip it. Again, love the closeup shots in this vid!

Unfortunately I've only ever had the one squidtrainer squidtrainer but it's a ton of fun.
I think the Kraken is their best Bali, but I like the Triton a touch more for its personality.
Squid honestly hasn't missed on any of these, though. The swordfish is still decent... just way too expensive.
Same grip power as a mako and not as much fun 🤷♂️. Just my opinion tho

According to Squids product page, the Triton line is being discontinued. I'm crushed. I'm also debating whether I need to purchase a 3rd one before they are gone for good. It was only a matter of time before the Mako completely replaced it.
Yeah well the mako has great personality and the V5 is super cool. I love the Triton V2 but I understand that it is a design that needs no upgrade

I rly love my triton! The balance is there and it’s at a pretty affordable price. Mine is pretty beat so I can only imagine how amazing it is without crazy tap and play. My mako is also beat but not to the point I can’t get rid of tap but what turns it down for me is the sound and that it’s kinda slippery. My Squidtrainer v4 is definitely one of my favorites in my collection but my one gripe is that it’s a little heavy for my preference (prob just need to flip it more without the zippy inserts). The squiddy Al is way above the mako in my opinion because it hits the spot on balance for me and also because of its price. I’m getting a Kraken V3 tomorrow and am exited to see what it’s all about. Anyways you videos are very well made and entertaining to watch. Keep up the great work!! 👍

Hey where can I get something similar to the display you have there to hold all your Balisongs. I’m not much on huge bulky cases personally and would rather just have it like how you do it. Also we got the same Barracuda color scheme!

Squid industries has to one day make a squidtrainer with a squid design, triton with a triton, kraken with a kraken, swordfish with a swordfish… the squiddy series and mako definitely follow through
