They cant sing their original songs bc of restrictions from her management company. I dont know the details but i heard its bc they signed her & not the band, unfortunately. They can only perform their own songs if ABS-CBN produces the show. These hundreds of gigs that they have been doing are independent of that company, so they can only sing covers. For this US tour i think she sang 1 original (not sure, i think i heard her sing Sakalam?), & 1 other song, but its new & not included in the album. They are planning on a 2nd album & i have a feeling they will have more control of their work this time around.

I also like the SIMPLE GG before 😭😭. Like no long eyelash extensons, not too much tattoo and her fluffy cheeks that make her look young. Her face is slimmer now. Now she looks more mature (Lady). I think artly it's bc there are so many singing contest shows in PH so ppl are always in this competitive mode, plus crab mentality. When Gigi was signed by Rise Artists/ABS-CBN 2 yrs ago, she started to have guest appearances on ASAP, & got to sing with the A-list singers who have dominated the industry for the past 20-30 yrs. But being a newbie, she mostly just sang as part of an ensemble, just singing a verse here & there. She wasn't able to be herself. Then the guest appearances stopped & she started touring with her band last year. I'm glad she made this decision, even tho she could probably had some good income & more exposure in PH, being part of ASAP. Thats why I like her bc she chose her band. I'm looking forward to their 2nd album, I have a feeling they will have more control of their work this time.
