Who doesn’t have a crush on her? Worth noting she has a 5 octave range. I just found her on some random IG post and immediately binged every one of her UA-cam’s then bought tix for her Los Angeles show. Phenomenal talent.
In her cover of Jai Ho, she went all the way up to E6. I believe that still wasn't the maximum of her vocal threshold because she was at ease when she sang that whistle note.
She's also currently single. 😂

An extra thank-you for this reaction, Peter. Your comments made me wonder if by any chance Gigi is touring -- and she is! First-ever US and Canada tour (and it looks like a really tough schedule; e.g., she's in Chicago on one day and the San Francisco Bay Area the next, which is 4 hours of flying and 2 hours of time zone difference either after the Chicago concert or the morning of the CA concert). The concert near me is nearly sold out but I GOT TICKETS!!!! Am inviting friends. And the catalyst for all this was your reaction video. 🙏

Nice to hear your analysis of her full chest belts. Gigi does this again in I FINALLY FOUND SOMEONE with Daryl Ong, it came out a few days ago. Hi! So from what I learned from watching your channel. It's extremely difficult to sing while sitting. I noticed a lot of Gigi De Lana's performances she does that. You think it's just for comfort? Because she seems to belt out these songs effortlessly! Btw, she IS very creative with the arrangements of her cover songs. Beautiful! And I don't use that word often. I really hope I'll hear a similar analysis of my crush too someday (though I know it probably won't happen :( unless he gets more attention). Yes correct. We are from the Philippines. Even I thought "sued" when it should be pronounced as "sowed". . I was probably absetlnt when "sew" was taught in school lol.

But i'll go with Peter's analysis on why Gigi went that route on pronouncing that word * sewed * sounding like * Sued * instead of pronouncing it like google says the proper way to pronounce sewed = S O H D ( SOHD ) .. since Peter knows Gigi's vocal ability. You're right, English is not Gigi's 1st language but when she sings english songs you can't detect any accent at all 😇! Her diction is chef kiss, perfect and flawless if i may say so 😇👍! Not like some other international singers i've listened to very carefully with very noticeable accents and english pronunciation like Dimash and Gabriel Henrique and many more 😇!

Hmmm.that's a good point to know that it might be a choice to sing SEWED on that vowel. But I do hear a lot of Filipinos pronounce the word sew as (Sue) and not the way you pronounce it (sow).😍 Although sue would rhyme better, I guess. 😜 Not an expert here, not even a singer. Mixed feelings listening to her… appreciate her range bit not very interesting as she has a couple of tricks she uses but there’s not much variety or surprises. Also seems quite forced emotionally…agree with earlier reaction - Angelina Jordan’s version was much more captivating and vocally interesting. An opinion only and probably just a matter of taste really🙂
