Four things I LOVE about this episode:
1) The way Seth hilariously roasts John Bolton and acknowledging that he's an idiot.
2) Roasting the Trump rally so effortlessly; Seth's such a natural at his job.
3) The Ethan Hawke thing. I saw that and I KNEW I wasn't wasting my time watching this.
4) The way he hopes for our safety and says he loves us. That's exactly what I needed this evening.
Love that Seth gives Bolton his due in addition to Trump, and doesn't give the book much credence. Seth gets that there's already enough dirt on Trump that is public, and championing the words and actions of a guy like Bolton is unnecessary.

Right up until the rally started, his camp was sending out texts inviting people to come - why would you do that for a 16,000-seat venue if you thought you had 900,000 people wanting to attend? Trump Jr. was posting misleading photos of the crowds outside (they were from another event). It's all so gross.

That's not really both in the same room. That's a Zoom call virtual background trick of sorts. The most 2020 thing in this video. Have Seth with a green screen behind him (which they do anyway to add in those inserts and graphics). That background for the entire video must basically have been from wherever Ethan Hawke was when they/he recorded that video and sent it over. For the most part, it's just a door and a wall except the bit where he steps in. This stuff is so basic anyone can pull it off with a little practise even without a professional post-prod editing team.
P.S: The next time you watch a Jurassic Park movie don't freak out, the dinosaurs aren't actually in the same space as Chris Pratt

He also ran for and became the President of the United States of America. Hardly someone you would attribute to having a brain that doesn’t work and here you are mister John Doe, making such claims. Maybe you could amaze us all with what you have achieved in life. No, I don’t think so.
Let's get it right: he _inherited_ a fortune, and nobody currently knows for sure how much money he has now - he's been strenuously resisting any and all attempts to actually check the paper trails. This is quite certainly a sign that the amount is nowhere near as much as he wants people to think.
He ran for President, _not expecting to win_ , as a stunt to boost his TV ratings; he did not prepare for the job in any way, instead gathering an odd base by demagoguery and telling them what he thought they wanted to hear... none of which was actually true.
He hasn't built The Wall.
He hasn't locked Hillary up.
He hasn't protected the borders, though he's threatened them in various ways; he's good at threatening things. But really poor on following through; he vastly prefers to throw money at them to go away, settling out of court.
He hasn't brought the jobs back - nobody could have - or made the economy great, or made America great. He inherited one of the better US economies ever, and squandered it.
And he still doesn't know what he's doing, won't read or listen to briefings, won't read in general, and truly doesn't care whether anything that comes out his burger-hole is true or not; he never has. He's never had to. Consequences are things that happen to other people, all his life.
