Don’t beat yourself up too bad buddy. The best in the nation are there with you and it looked like you had decent speed. I didn’t see anyone pass very many cars. Keep your head up and win that non qualifier!
Thank you sir
hey man been watching for a while now. Just wanted to comment on something non race related. you look healthier everytime ive seen you this year. Looks to me like all that hard work you've been putting in the car is also paying off for you physically ! Keep it up love the content.
After I had my shoulder rebuilt I was able to get back in the gym. I lift and do anerobic cardio on a regular schedule every week. So far I have cut 80 pounds in the last year and I am hoping it helps me better scale my cars to account for my weight.
Great effort you put in. Lots of hard work. Keep digging
Thank you Mr James
My prayers go out for you
That’s awesome it’s hard to get a prayer now days! I’m praying for you and your family.
Thank you
Just keep up with you notes practice makes perfect next year
I didn't see any other cars that started mid pack passing a lot of cars. A lot of tough competition there. Good luck.
Very tough competition, definitely lets you know what the best can do.
Man good times
agreed!
You might not think so but your doing great brother! The car is just coming to you and the switch from left to coil is different driving styles. I’m proud of you man!
I appreciate that, I sure was working hard to try to get better this weekend. I know I did improve before it was over but wow, I still struggle to get my leaf car out of my head at times.
Car looked fast..keep tinkering try to get a little more power 👊🏁👊 nice run! Good luck tonight.
Yes sir, thank you
car had the speed
It was getting faster but I still have a ways to go to give these guys a real challenge
Definitely making improvement just need that one more thing
I was feeling the gains but needed a lot more gain a lot faster ;)
Jason you need a driver's track, that was hooked up wide open for the most part, that's a hard track to make ground on I don't care how good you are ! Good luck with next one !
Yes sir, I found it VERY HARD to move forward on this slick sucker LOL
My prayers go out
Thank you
When you were lengthening the chain out there was a guy go by on a green 4 wheeler, his name his Jason Byrd (aka Byrdman) he’s the man on dirt cars. He set my car up and it’s handles like a dream. Hes from Alabama. Let me know if you want his number!! Hang in there bud!
There are some REALLY smart guys at this race every year that know exactly what to do and when.
Keep diggin Jason. I saw you gonna be the pole tonight. Take care and be careful
Your brother and Nephew came over. Really neat meeting some of your folks in person.
@@DIRTRACELIFE That was my younger brother and my son. Lol. You should have put them to work.
Shoot I think they would have gladly jumped in if I asked
Scrubbing too much speed in the corners, as soon as you figure that out you'll be up there dude!
All my parts finally came in today and I start my revision to the front end tomorrow (and filming). Car's not fast enough so I will continue to work on it until it is!
p1 for the non qualifier good luck Jason!
Thank you, we're tryin.
@@DIRTRACELIFE I enjoyed watching looked like you where getting to know the track during the end !
It's hard going to a new track an hitting it right off the bat when your the driver an crew cheif , several things could be wrong , keep trying you'll find it
One thing about it, I wasn't going to just leave it alone and expect different results the next time. I cranked on her everyday and by the final night I do feel the car was much better.
@@DIRTRACELIFE yes , I follow your site to see the progress your making , how can you run a Malibu frame when the rulebook states metric or Johnson, please enlighten me
Jimmy, the rules don't restrict you to a metric its just that everyone is "monkey see / monkey do" and there are a lot more metric frames still in the junk yards. The rules just state a minimum wheelbase of 108" which means any of the 112 or 116 wheelbase cars are fine. The rules also don't allow altering the frame so you can not cut those cars down to a 108. You have to run them as what they are.
Don’t forget you’re not running against a bunch of rookies and their trying hard as you. Keep slugging and it’ll come to you. Racing is hard but it’s the hard that makes it great! Sorry, I stole that line from a baseball movie.
But its a good line that is so dang true.
