the wheels worked a treat only downside is their weight we will change to an alloy trailer before our next trip thinking about mangrove jack (38 kg) love the squid when cooked well I prefer it to fish cheers Kev
😂Gday Kev & Chris love your channel. Heading to SA in a couple of weeks Can you tell me please where you get your crab bait pots from please Regards Glenn
Hi Glenn pretty sure we got the bait cages from tackle world and sure we have seen them in BCF at times as well ,just be sure to zip tie them shut the crabs even work out how to open them and steal your bait cheers Kev
next time your in that area check out Haslam campground excellent spot with power or non power toilets cheap and a Getty in front blue swimmers of the jetty and squid and the best part oyster galore from the oyster shed your properly been there before
Probably an odd question but what size is your Quad ?, we are thinking of the same set up, we also have the same boat ! love your videos and your destinations keep up the good work
our quad is a 250 cc Honda TRX 250 TM it is a 2 wheel drive but goes just about anywhere it weighs 198 kg is a manual similar to the honda postie bike we did have to modify the front and rear racks to be able to fit it accross the tray it really opens up the options when you travel cheers kev
we did try that but must have done it wrong ,at least you could point the squid away from the boat your way will have to try again next time but heaps of fun cheers kev
love how you put squid out so they don't suffer and it stop them from spitting there ink every where
Yet another great vid guys,, witty about the close season for the snapper, but the crabs and squid will keep you fed..😆
it was the biggest snapper I have ever caught ,great fun on light gear
we did mark the GPS spot for when there is no longer a closed season
cheers kev
Gday Kev & Chris, great episode again, good upgrades too (boat trailer wheels 👍🏼) Glad you found the squid 👍🏼🍻

the weed beds do you dig for the sand worms they make excellent bait for whiting and mullet
Lovely ep and spot and crabs and fish.
love SA it has so much to offer just a pain when its windy
That quad makes a lot of sense. Nice crabs, pity about the closed season for the snapper.
having the quad is great it opens up a whole new experience and its a bugger about the closed season but we have the gps mark for next time
cheers kev
Looks like you guys are really enjoying yourself - nice lot of crabs
