Great video again you both alway seems so happy out in the boat. It was good fun watching some of those squid not behaving. Is it hard getting the ink out of your clothes?
thanks it really dosnt come out ,it stains and is even hard to get the boat clean best to wear old clothes when fishing for squid but it is heaps of fun cheers kev and chris
@@travellingaustralia7319 lovely stuff enjoy, , As soon as the PDR is open Iam off to near Weipa for 4 to 6 weeks then across the savannah way maybe fish Delta downs or 7emus or Limmen River, over 4 weeks then to kununurra and on to Mcgowan's fish camp for 4 weeks

Really… that’s an exact science? Tide against wind , wind direction, depth of water all contribute . I doubt your 13 knot theory is correct. Kev was exaggerating anyway.
yes Andy is correct Blue swimmer crabs have a massive bag limit of 20 crabs per person per day and whiting are 10 per person per day and also possesion limits but we never take enough to even worry about those and no fishing licence in SA cheers Kev
Bloody good episode Kev & Chris Was wondering what that pole/antennae is near your stone guard/draw bar? Are you still in Smoky Bay or have you started heading north? Cheers 🍻👍🏼
Hi Craig the pole you have mentioned is our portable cell fi unit to help with bad phone reception in certain areas and helps with our internet also , we have had to cut this trip short as we were having problems with our solar input been home a couple days now and have it sorted cheers Kev
Sorry that you had to leave Smoky early, but glad the solar is sorted. Do you take the cellfi go unit/antenna from the Ranger to the Bushtracker when parked up, or is that a separate one? Cheers 🍻👍🏼
you may have to watch it again we always without fail cross our chains on the van in the case of it coming unhitched the crossed chains will hold the A frame up off the ground , that is the theory anyway hope to never find out cheers Kev
You two had me chuckling when karate choppping the squid, with ink going all over the boat and you. Great video at Smoky bay.

White caps occur at 13 knots and above so no where near 40?
Really… that’s an exact science? Tide against wind , wind direction, depth of water all contribute . I doubt your 13 knot theory is correct. Kev was exaggerating anyway.
@@AndyL940 well then check it out mate, that’s what I was told in the Navy, do yourself a favour and check it out for yourself?
I know we should use Knots but we still refer wind speed at Kilometers per hour but was just saying how wrong the weatherman was yet again
cheers kev
How many crabs are you allowed to keep?
Bag limit for fish?
And I take it that you need a fishing lic ?
From memory it’s 20 crabs and 10 whiting
