SA is so underrated EP4 found a GOLD MINE
Hi traveller's watching your channel, I noticed you haven't got the landcruiser
Love all of the videos looking forward too see the new videos soon .
Great vid guys, use deserve the rest for a while. Kev what size battery are you using in the boat.. to run the appliances and engine..?
we are now using a itech 54 amp hr lithium battery it charges from the outboard we put a charge kit in it and charges around 12 amps this battery is working well but would NOT suggest Itecworld batteries for the caravan we had them for 8 months and got rid of them went to Enerdrive and very happy we did cheers Kev
Hey Kev, what size batty are you using in the boat to run the sounder and the small engine ?
You might have missed my email to you ... Why don't you wear Life Jackets ??? Thanks , I have enjoyed watching every episode .... Just concerned ... if you do fall over board ....
sorry I missed it ,we wear life jackets in SA as it is law there, but normaly we dont go out in rough conditions and usually quite shallow water in rivers and estuarys as they do hinder your movement quite a bit ,we are old enough and hopefully smart enough not to play silly buggers in the boat cheers Kev
@@travellingaustralia7319 That's a typical Aussie excuse ... She'll be right Mate ... You should get your sponsors to buy a non intrusive ones that IF you fall in you only have to pull a line to get it inflated . Just won't like to see you or your missus fall in .
Thank you so much for sharing your adventures i have loved every episode. I am looking forward to your next trip. Cheers
Kev what’s your tow vehicle?
we currently have a next gen Ranger V6 before that was a PX2 ranger 3.2 before that was a F250 and Before that was a Toyota V8 ute been very happy with them all execpt the F250 just hated that thing was the most unreliable vehicle we have ever owned cheers Kev
7:00 They're pronounced Co-burn.
great trip....cheap on the fuel.
Love ya videos, happy more travels
great video looking foward to the next lot but theses episodes of N.T were fantastic makes me want to go there for fishing and camping
Well done.. Thank you..
Love the video 🍻
Looking forward to your next series 💕👍🏽😊
Thanks for taking us along! Great travels looking forward to your next videos. Bill Mc
You always make long distance travel look so easy!!!! Thanks for sharing and I’m looking forward to your next adventures 😊x
More to come! cheers Kev
Gday from Tassie guys, the setup on the ranger ,did u buy it off of the shelf or did you have it made to your design.?
The Ranger was a process we ordered it and it took almost 12 months to get delivered but we couldnt pick it up and register it prior to getting the GVM GCM upgrade from Lovells so had to wait another couple months ,once upgrades were done and rego we took it to Limitless Chassis on the sunshine coast to get a 450 mm chassis stretch to get the rear axle where they should all be - middle of the tray and also extra strengthening plates then all the add ons we have done a few video on the build of our Ranger and so far extremely happy with it so smooth and plenty of power all up cost was around 105k but we believe far better than any of the 1500 style american utes cheers Kev
@@travellingaustralia7319 thank you for the and keep up the great shows
Great video Kev & Chris. We spray those Bunnings style hats with outdoor varnish to make it last a little bit longer (before being a hat parade 🤣🤣) Glad you made it home without any mishaps. Loved the outtakes at the end 🤣👍🏼🍻
good tip thanks that would make them last heaps longer cheers Kev
Great episode again guys, looking forward to your next adventure. Cheers 😊😊
Great job look forward to seeing more 🍻
Great series guys, really enjoyed it. What editing software are you using?
sorry for the late reply we are using Final cut pro x on mac I find it very easy to use but am still finding little tricks with it cheers Kev
videos look great. When are you off again.
Have really enjoyed watching your travels thank you 😊
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks for the video series. Woulld be good to see what you do for a living at some stage. Take care.
Just wondering if you could do a fuel economy comparison between the ranger and that American truck ?
The fuel use was quite similar with the Ranger being about 2 Litres per hundred better in normal conditions towing at or near the speed limit but in strong head winds and more hilly country it was only .5 to 1 litre per hundred better the big cummins in the Ram didnt change that much in the hills but he is still about 1000 kg heavier than us cheers Kev
It's been a pleasure watching.
Great video again!! Can’t wait to see your next adventures.
Camra view a bit high, had a few lagers last night did we
Thanks for the videos guys, a little tip for your umbrella holders on the boat if you add a 22.5 degree bend in it you can pivot it to give more shade. Cheers
what a great but super simple idea thanks we will try that but can already see that would help cheers Kev
Hoolie doolie - great trip guys. Not sure about washing the red dust off - its the best preservative and the proof is just look at the outback!

Great video guys.
Thanks so much!
“Priscilla Ted” seemed to take it well 🤣 Loved the whole trip 🍻👍🏼
we always have a good laugh cheers Kev
Hey Kev. What brand bimini did you use in this build? I'm looking to do the same on my Seajay Nomad.
it was one from road tech marine just made sure it fitted inside the tinny when folded down so it didnt have to be taken off when the boat goes on the roof cheers Kev
My father would have loved to have lived out his entire life catching fish, crabs, cooking lamb in his iron camp oven, he was a shearer in his youth, unfortunately his back gave out on him from the manual labor over the years. You two are living a wonderful life together, quite a team who make it look so easy and homely. My dad passed a few weeks ago, you both bring tears of joy and some sadness that reminds me of his good days doing what you do. Thank you for sharing your videos, I love our older ( wiser) Australians, you are both genuine people.
sorry to hear the loss of your Dad just hope he got to spend his time here well cheers Kev
Another great video guys!
Glad you enjoyed it! cheers kev
great film from the start
wow those yabbies would be beer bottle size
Love your video's guys, keep them coming. Your certainly living the dream. 😊 Iv got a question for you tho, where did you get your deep fryer? How do you store it, and do you make your own chips? 😂
The pot is one we use for corned meat and pickled pork but the basket has a removable handle so it stores easily ,I wish we knew where we got it from we have a freezer space of over 100 lt so we use frozen chips cheers Kev
love your crab cooker did well
it works great check out how we make our fire pit, its quite easy and has many uses cheers Kev
wow did you see that big squid fly past when you were pointing at the Dolhon
Happy fathers day to all (otherwise I would be called sexist)
Love your vids guys so jealous 😍 ❤️
thanks for watching cheers Kev
Very interesting plus loved the cloud patterns while you were driving as well!!
hi mate how come you use a colour zip tie on your crab pots
no particular reason just picked them up in a cheap shop in Katherine cheers Kev
Last time I was at Borrolooa We were advised not to go there due local unrest in the population.
that town is a real eye opener cheers Kev
Great work again we love your videos. What's your thoughts on the need for a min kota on the small tinnies. We use a 3.85 sea jay angler for basically the same as what yours for. Keep up the great work 😁👍
we wouldnt be without one now great for barra fishing and we even use it instead of the anchor when we are down south chasing King george whiting its better than scaring the fish with the noise of the anchor and easy to move between sand patches with it cheers Kev
Is that Minn Kota the same size (lb & inches) as the one from your 3.7 SeaJay ? Been thinking it would be a better solution to snagging an anchor
