Try V&M products in Summer. The worms have a great fall action and the lizard held up to them no problem.

Hey Logo let me start by saying thank you! I’ve always wanted to learn how to fish but unfortunately never had someone teach me, Your videos have really helped me self learn how too fish (still got a long way to go feels like) what would really help me and maybe some other beginner fishermen/anglers is maybe giving us a quick little description of your set up from the hook type size and how to rig in the description? I’d love to catch more fish on plastics and just got my first fish from a wacky warm set up I’ve seen you use struggled with the hook size and type had to go do some searching but I finally was able to get one (spinners have been my main bait to catch fish as it’s easier to use) id really appreciate it and would like to have a set up as close to as the one you have to go out there and try to catch some fish and really get my skills up instead of worrying if I have a decent set up or correct set up😅

Worms are more versatile. The lizard bite isn't always hot during the summer and fall, might just be the waters I fish but the worm is always getting bit. I always carry at least one pack of worms with me on every trip. Around here lizards usually only do good during the spawn and post spawn. Which makes me wonder if the lizard actually looks appetizing to bass or if it just seems like a threat to their beds and fry.

    Obviously one day proves nothing.
You could fish them year round and some days will vary depending on weather, color, size, action etc. Hands dowm Lizards are my favorite soft plastic. The 4" zoom or yum is great pre spawn bait. The V&M is excellent summer bait. I go back and forth between Bamabug, watermelon red, chartruese pepper & green pumkin. Sizes vary for smallies to largemouth and color via weather, water clarity and Sun.
