Wallsplatting df1,2 is much stronger than now. But it’s not op, it’s balanced. I like this change

They finally got the visuals and animations down for DVJ. Before, he felt a bit like he was sleeping. Now you can feel his devil powers in full force.
I'm going to have to think about some key changes like that df1,2 being m,h or what mids to go for from wavedash but I've gotten used to his T7 S4 version now so I should be fine.
Long ranged moves like that f1+4 and the new f3+4 stance are very welcome.

GOD the sound effects are so good in this game. The hits sound so damn heavy. I haven't played since Tekken 6 but I may have to cop this
I am happy with the change to df1 2, dj is supposed to be a psychopathic devil, a fucking monster. His new animations, voicelines and attacks clearly show this. The developers want you to play more like a maniac with him and honestly the old df1 2 would have stopped that. It just feels like such a fundamentally strong and defensive tool thats fits more for a patient or normal character rather than an aggressive demon.

They always change what they say during the rage art from the trailers.. It sounded way cooler when he said disappear into the void
Maybe that's unique dialogue with Jin. Just like his unique dialogue when he uses rage art against Kazuya.
Next to kazuya, DJ is my main (now that heihachi is dead). Nice to see him more balanced for a change. I despise it when they buff him the way he was for most of Tekken 7. He still looks strong here, but when comparing him to characters like Reina, he looks weak. So I’m happy.
