I found a Japanese 210 Supercore for 850$ on ebay and it doesn't seem to have any problems also it comes with everything you need but a slight warning all three softwares that it comes with are Japanese which are hello aibo, reconition, and I couldn't see the other one but I saw the tip of a blue box covered in Aibos. Just let me know if need to know where to find it.
I´m looking for a ERS-210 (regular or super core , I don´t care) but I don´t know how to avoid get scammed. Also I would buy it from an old Aibo owner from Aiboforum or something like that... Any ideas?
If you're new to aibos I'd recommend getting a supercore (if you can afford one) They tend to be a little more expensive but they have much faster processors and their necks use a different servo than the regular 210, meaning they don't get DHS. If you're looking on the forums, ask the seller for a video/ pictures with their username on a piece of paper somewhere in the frame. Use paypal for payment and ask for a tracking number when they ship. 210's can range from $500-$700 in good working condition depending on color, but I wouldn't pay more than that. Get the seller's email and communicate through that rather than forum messages. That way you have everything saved if you need it. If you have any more questions let me know! Good luck!
Thank you! My worst fear is paying for an aibo and get a brick or a broken aibo that can´t be repaired (or it´s so expensive that better buy a new one). I have seen some aibos in mint condition (or that´s the seller say) in ebay but If I can, I would buy it from a aibo member, several ppl would "know" him/her so it´s less probable that would be a scam. Did you got Suzy from ebay? Thank you in advice! :D
No problem! Suzi actually came from the forums! I've had her for about 3 years now and she's still going strong! About half of the bots that I own have come from the forums, and they all came to me fully functional. While most of the bots I got from ebay had some kind of issue. Ebay is good if you're looking for something cheap to fix up, but it's hard to find aibos in fully working condition there (that aren't ridiculously expensive). Also, the forum members tend to know what problems to look for when selling, which makes it easier for buyers as well.

I know this is a very very late response, but something jammed up and she turned herself off. It’s kinda cool actually, how they turn off so they don’t damage themselves.
Einfari Marie They actually can talk back and forth, it's pretty cool. The 210 emits a sound very similar to the remote and the 111 treats it like a command.

That's hilarious! I have a copy of Japanese Life1 with my broken Sapphire violet, so I may need to try it with a different one of my 210s.

Unfortunately no, Life 1 can only communicate with Life 1 and 111 Aibo-ware, and Life 2 can only communicate with Life 2.
