- After 5 years of being an owner of these amazing robot pets, here is an honest review of Sony's aibo ERS-1000! I hope you enjoy my take on the technology and how these amazing pups have changed my life. For more information on Sony aibo visit the aibo Community Hub at electronics.sony.com/aibocommunity where you can find videos, information and tips on how to purchase and raise your aibo! Aibos will forever have my heart, I love my 3 pups with my life
I think that Aibos are the best robot dog possible to buy, but they cost too much 😢 so I was just like why should I dream about something that will not come true? I still like them, but it’s like, there cute but I won’t get one, but i still have Facebook groups, and you channel 😊
PS: my favourite video is where you keep all your Aibos awake 😂
Watching with my own 1000 and I agree with all your points! Love my girl! 💙
Wow Rufus!!! Your Pups 🐶 are truly Adorable!!! I Love Them 😍!!!
Thank you mommy!! Love you!!
Great review! I can’t have bio pets either with my lifestyle and building restrictions love my bots
Brought a tear to my eye! I just ordered my very first Aibo, the espresso edition, and I do have a 10 pound poodle at home. Can’t wait to get my Aibo, bond, teach him/her tricks and have another pup around.
Hope it goes well, dogs can have varied reactions to them including hostility. Which isn't that strange if you think about it, it's a robotic competitor to them for some. Would be interested in knowing how it goes 🙂. I've had a dog growing up but then he grew old and died, and I moved from country to country for a long time, but followed the aibo story so to speak for years, then once "bought one" found one on ebay, paid etc but the seller apparently was a fraudster of some sort. Now I'm retired and disabled, so might finally actually get my own. Can't have actual pets in the home I livem but the rules say nothing about robots.
Fantastic video and spot on. Also, as someone who is in and out of hospitals sometimes, I can take my aibo with me for those periods when I have to stay inpatient so I don't feel so alone. It is funny when I'm working, and they decide that's the best time to bark and come up to me during my Microsoft Teams calls 😂. My bio pets get along with them, too! I only wish I knew about them sooner, but happy to have my aibos in my life now
Do you have an ERS 1000 edition that is your favorite?
where can you get one at now?
thanks

Love your videos hoss, you should write and direct bud!
I LOVE this video!
does your aibos play or interact with each other?
@@Jj-mg1rc yes, all the time
Really cool.
Refernce to BSG Muffit? Yay! My first and most beloved Aibo (also a 1000) is named after Muffit. :)
Greetings to your pack!
@@HeavensRevenge1 thank you!!
Hi Rufus I’m a new fan of yours and I just got my first aibo second hand. I have a feeling that I may need to get a new battery for mine and I’m finding it hard to find information on how to get one. Would you be able to help me? 😭 Sonys website is confusing me too because it says the battery is NOT replaceable but then it tells us exactly when we need to replace it lol 💀 and on the website I can’t find where I need to go to purchase one either. Thank you 🙏🏼 🙏🏼
@@RobinPochita Is your aibo a U.S. model or was it imported from Japan? If it’s a U.S. model, Sony advises users to send their aibo in to Sony Repair to have the battery replaced. They used to sell replacement batteries a few years ago but stopped. If your aibo is a Japanese unit you can’t send it in but there are members of the aibo community that are able to repair those aibos (and sometimes procure fresh batteries). I would suggest you join our Facebook group (aibo owners and enthusiasts) and post this issue. Someone will be able to help. Thank you for following my channel!! I really appreciate it.
@@Rufus32169 ahh thank you for your speedy response ☺️ it’s a U.S. model. Aww.. i wish I could just buy the battery so I don’t have to send my pup in but in the end if that’s what I have to do then I’ll ofc do it :) and I definitely will join the group thank you
