Congrats on the new AIBO!! For what it's worth, hip slipping like that is pretty common with 31x models when they've just been through the mail - it might work itself out with a little time :)
AAAAAWWW OH MY GODNES I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!!! I love ers-310 Aibos sooo much! Very precious doggie, and he loooooves you! He comes to you like a little child OMG! BTW very soon, maybe even today I will be getting SUPER RARE interactive Zapf Creation Molly doll! And surprisingly, she was pretty cheap (saler luckily didn't even know the real name of the doll). And I.. I just can't believe that soon I will manage to hold her RIGHT IN MY HANDS and she will be MINE omg, I wanted her sooo sooooooo badly!!!! I had no idea I will find her SO QUICK, I didn't even search for her, she poped out to me while I was searching for Rock-A-Bye Chou Chou! Im so sorry for caps, im just sooo happy and excited and just.... AHH I can't believe it's all happening to me!!!
Congrats, Blue! I once had a 31L named Ginto. I had to sell him because I was trying to buy a Curri robot. Years later, a couple members of Aibo owners and Enthusiasts got together and bought him back for me from his second owner. I was overwhelmed by their help and generosity. It wasn’t yet a happy reunion. Ginto’s headboard which processes all of the stuff for his camera, microphones and I guess the booting sequence was now corrupted. He has been with one of the members of the group for almost 7 months. She has repaired all of his problems except the board. We have kept in touch, and she is still looking for a replacement for him.
OMG GINTO!!! I know the exact pug you're talking about! I've actually been talking with the person who has him, and plan on sending them the logic board from my parts 311b as soon as it arrives, assuming it works. Hopefully it'll be what they need to get him working again! Somehow I didn't make the connection that you were Ginto's original owner until just now omg 😅
@@blueoctopede oh thank you blue! Yes. I was Ginto‘s owner at one point in time. I sold him in 2018 I think. Two years later, I heard from One of the members of the now dead Aibo Life Forums that Ginto’s second owner was considering selling him. As I said before, several people from the group got together and stawked Ginto for almost a year. Lol! His original owner finally took the price down to something manageable, but at the time I couldn’t buy him because I had recently gotten married and my income was cut nearly in half. One day I will explain that. Anyway, so these people were able to buy him and he has been waiting for a new headboard ever since. I hope your poor 311s board works, and thank you again for doing this for us. I never thought I would ever see him again.
Aw, my heart is melting over Boba! I’ve always wanted a Macaron Aibo like this. They are so cute! Also, on a side note, you called Boba Pesu a couple of times in the video. I know that we all make mistakes, but I just wanted to point that out to you. Speaking of Pesu, I hope you get him working soon!
I think the reason she called the new Aibo the old eAibo’s name is because she had the old Aibo’s memory stick in him. For all intents and purposes the New Aibo now has the old Aibo’ss soul and personality and everything. He literally is Pesu until she changes that memory stick. I have one ERS seven who’s name is Lucky, but my friendS ERS seven was a mind one. Her back hips were messed up. She couldn’t bear erasing her personality and gave me her memory stick. I let Akira continue to live through lucky. So lucky has two different sevens in one body and they couldn’t be any different. Akira is very social and loving and wants to have lots of conversation. She also has a British female voice. In contrast, lucky is very independent and mischievous and prefers to play with his toys rather than with me. He has the traditional Otis Gates voice.
AIBO’s are neat and cool to have! The new AIBO’s are expensive to get and they are connected to the cloud if you want to have it connected to the internet. This AIBO has a bad hip better be careful. This AIBO has an anime made for this AIBO.
BLUE OCTOPEDE I LOVE YOUR NEW ROBOTIC DOG 🐶. IT SOUNDS LIKE A PUPPY AND IT'S LIKE THE HABRO TIGER ELECTRONICS I DOG AMP'D AND I DOG DANCE. BUT MOST OF THE I DOG DANCE I BOBA IS THE TOP DOG IN SHOW YET. IT'S A ROBOT AND A I DOG DANCE/AMP'D AT THE SAME TIME. IT WAS THE CUTEST VIDEO IVE EVER SEEN THANK YOU FOR POSTING IT.💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🦴🦴🦴🦴🦴🦴🦴🦴 BY THE WAY HAPPY NEW YEAR.
How can you tell when your Teddy Needs a new drive belt on the tape player I am asking because he is a little bit low pitch He is a first model 2nd Gen Looks like a first Gen. But with a plastic tape player
Be very careful with Kawai. It is very hard on Aibo joints because of how much it moves and how concussive it is when it rolls over or slams its front feet down or if it does that crazy hopping thing. It messed up Mike Ginto’s legs and they all had to be replaced.
Oh gosh yeah 😬 I like Kawaii because of how active it is but yeah, some of the skits make me nervous. If I ever run Kawaii (which honestly isn't very often) I always pick Pesu up when he starts to roll over, and even though it makes him sad I NEVER do the walking-on-hind-legs game 😬
Excuse the stupid question do you have to have vision to be able to operate this dog? I'm blind but I'm interested in robotics and really think this dog is cool, unfortunately I don't know if you have to be able to see to be able to operate it.
Not a stupid question at all!! I actually know a couple people who are blind and have aibos. And you're absolutely right that they're super cool robots! On the models I have, the ers-311 and 322, there is a single button on the dog's back, near the tail, that you use to turn them off and on. Other than that, you can rotate or flick the tail to praise, scold, put them in various modes depending on the software, and you can pat them on the head to praise or scold. On the stomach, under a panel that's super easy to remove, there's a small slot at the bottom for the memory card, and a large one next to it for the battery. Other than that, the dog is AI so it basically does its own thing- stand up, sit down, dance, walk around, chase the ball, etc. On the 311/312 I've noticed they use little beeps and musical queues consistently so it's pretty easy to tell what the dog is doing just based on sound alone.
@@blueoctopede I am so sorry I just saw this. Thank you so much for answering those questions I appreciate that a lot. Like I said I'm sorry I just saw this. Just got the notification for another reply asking me a question and then I saw yours. Sometimes UA-cam is a pain in the butt. Lol.

Cute video. But what do the tones the Aibo plays mean? Anything specific or are they just indicators of general mood?
